Chapter Seven (Macy POV)

I was walking to school with Kitty and Dan, when, Fulgur landed beside us and I looked at her in confusion.

What is it Fulgur? I asked.

There's a thorn in my paw and I can't get it out. she said looking away from us embarrassed.

Kitty giggled and stepped up to her "you should be more careful Fulgur." she said grabbing the thorn and pulling it out.

"That's not a thorn that a piece of bark." I said taking the piece of wood from Kitty "how did you even get this in your paw?" I asked showing her.

I was sharpening my claws on a tree and it got stuck. She said.

I sighed and threw it to the side "why don't you find some rocks to do that on?" I asked.

"Let her be Macy she doesn't know this place as well as you, cut her some slack." Kitty said.

"How can you hear her thoughts?" I asked.

"She projected her thoughts to all of us." Kitty said "even Dan heard her." I looked at Dan and he nodded in confirmation.

"Cool." I said "but we gotta go." I turned and kept walking. Kitty and Dan followed until we got to the school, we talked in the hallway for a bit before Kitty and I headed to the girls locker room.

"How am I supposed to hide my tail in these?!?" Kitty shouted holding up the gym shorts.

"Don't ask me, you're the one that decided to have a tail, did you think about how you're going to hide it?" I asked pulling the tank top over my head.

"Of course I did but I wasn't expecting this." she said.

"If it helps any you're not aloud to wear caps during PE either." I said.

Kitty groaned and took her cap off, her ear back in an annoyed way "I'm a dragon I shouldn't have to follow your rules." she said huffing and crossing her arms.

"Well right now you're a human so you do have to follow our rules." I said "so hurry up and change."

She grumbled and changed quickly "I hate this, it's way to revealing on a human body." she said pulling the collar of her tank top up.

"Are you self conscious about your human form?" I asked.

"Well yes, I studied humans enough to know what's right and wrong to show in public." she said blushing a bit.

"And you did enough digging to learn how to use a phone, wow you must have been pretty thorough, I'm surprised you didn't know cat people weren't a normal thing here." I said walking away.

"Ah don't leave me here!" she said running after me but stopped when she remembered her ears and tail were showing "Macy help me!" she shouted as I continued walking.

I snickered but turned and walked back over to her when I saw Zane "alright press your ears against your head." I said, as she did so I reached up and moved her hair so it was covering her ears "alright what can we do about that tail?" I said thinking to myself.

"Maybe I can put it up my shirt." she said slipping her tail up her shirt "that works."

"Your ears are showing." I said.

"Sorry it's uncomfortable to have them like that." she said.

"Hang on I'll be right back." I said walking out.

"Hey Macy." I heard a voice behind me, I turned and our Soccer teams goalie, Ash, was standing there. Ash had raven black hair and ocean blue eyes that almost all the girls got lost in, he could be a bit of a player but Dan says he's nice so I trust him.
