"You were right Zeph." I said, punching the wall over and over again until blood came out of my hands.
"About what?" He asked startled by my violence.
"They're fucking aliens." I was screaming. I wanted to tear something to shreds. I went to the lower level gym and punched the sand bag until it exploded. I started on another one without caring about my bleeding hands.
"Wow Lana, never get angry with me..." I laughed even though I was furious. Those asswhole aliens, killing my race, punch, killing my love, kick, trying to destroy my family, double punch, trying to kill me, kick, kick. I was gonna murder those bastards.
"Look at your hands. Stop Lana. You can't hurt yourself, what if they come in here?"
"If they come here, I'll use my swords, obviously. But I doubt they'll use eagle form to capture me." Punch, punch, kick at the bag.
"What are you talking about?"
"White haired people?" Punching the bag with all my strenght I looked at him from the corner of my eye. He nodded, and I screamed at the bag. "It's them. They can change to human form." With anger, I kicked the bag so hard it fell frm the support, the chains having been busted.
He looked startled by my strenght. "Holly cow Lana, how the hell did you get so strong?"
"When I started practicing with Kyu and Sagichi. Very good side effects aren't they? For the last 2 years I've been able to beat the shit outta everyone we know. Knew. I haven't done it, well, with the exception of that bitch Melicent. Remember her? Tried to bully me and when she couldn't payed a bunch of boys to try and beat me up? Well, I beat them, and when I found out who payed them I beat HER. You should see her face. Never even got near me again. I just looked at her funny and she ran away."
"I thought was because you could fight."
"Nah, I just broke a tree in front of her. And then, beat her. And before you say it wasn't enough provocation, you must know that she tried to hit me first."
"Getting out of subject much?"
"Probably. I'm too angry to focus."
"Do you want to kill something?"
"YES. PLEASE, let me go outside and kill one of them bitches. Pleeeease." He gave a satisfied smile and jingled the keys for me. "One hour." I jumped and snatched the keys.
"I'm gonna accessorize."
I went to my room and saw which fighting gear I had. I was wearing the black suits with red swirling now, a mourning for Filipe. Red for his blood I blamed myself for having been spilled, and black, besides being my favourite colour, was now the colour of sadness. When I felt like I had mourned enough, I'd use again the blue ones.
I put my daggers in their hiding places, the scabbards on my waist, my swords sheathed in them. my hair was short so I didn't have to worry about it. And just for the heck of it, I put black eyeliner and black shade.
I was ready. I took the keys from the bed and discovered I could put them in the same place where I hid the daggers.
I got out of my room and sneaked out the house. I didn't want my mother being a worry wart. It was bad enough her over protectiveness, BEFORE the attack. She never recognized I could defend myself.
I unlocked the door and felt the hot late spring's wind on my face for the first time in weeks. It was 2 hours max until dusk, which was good. Black was awfull with heat you know... And I was, sort of alergic to it.
I heard noise in the bushes but I didn't move. I knew what it was but I didn't move.
The ass huge eagle landed in front of me, and I took Kyu out, as a precaution. We stared at each other, long minutes. Him with what seemed to be curiosity, impossible to tell for sure with those monster yellow eyes, and me with anger, hate, disgust.
