(AN, I didn't want to keep you guys in a lot of suspense, so here it is. a small one, but, it kills the curiosity until next chapter.")

We waited for death, but it didn't come. Blarion caught me in his arms, with such tremendous pain I screamed in agony, while my shoulded bled even harder. Someone else caught Lilly and her daughter and in less than 5 seconds flat, we were outside, breathing pure air, while the safehouse burned down.

Blarion still had his arms around me and I just wanted to yank them out. Rip them appart, but I was unable to. I was so weak with blood loss I was barely standing. Lilly and her baby were unharmed, and I was thankfull for that at least.

My vision was greying and I was sagging into his chest. I was desperaly trying not to feel how hot he was, how safe he made me feel. The reactions my body had over it. I heard him laugh and he spoke very clearly in my mind, proving I was right in my assumption.

"Do not hide you want me, it is clear to see." But then he got alarmed. "Why are you so weak? What is wrong? Answer me love."

I was too tired and too far gone to speak, so I just sent him my thoughts instead. "I'm dying. Too much blood." Everything went dark and I felt myself sleeping downwards, but before I hit the ground, his arms firmed around me, and he layed me down instead, kneeling at my side. He saw my shoulder for the first time, and said something in his language that i'm pretty much sure were swearing.

"How can I help you? Tell me. No don't go to sleep, stay with me." I heard him, but I couldn't speak, couldn't see.  I was floating.

************ Lilly's POV

I saw this alien kneeling by the body of my dying friend, and I was suddenly glad. Very glad. No one knew, not even Lana, but I was a seer, and I could see the future. These 2 were meant to be together, and as much as she suffered with Filipe's death, he was never the man she would stay with.

I walked to them and put my hand on his shoulder. He looked up at me with such sorrow and pain in his weirdly yellow eyes I almost stumbled back. Oh yeah, these 2 were meant to be.

"I can help you. I am human, I can help you save her."

My daughter is quiet in my arms, and the whole world was silent, like this was a turn of destiny, like whatever happened right now would change the whole universe for better or worse.

"What should I do?" He asked in despair.

"Just do what I say. First, stop that bleeding. Use........"

*****************Lana's POV

My head was hurting like hell, and my shoulder seemed on fire. I screamed in pain, and I felt something cool against my head, easing me a bit.

I heard voices but it was dificult to understand what exactly was being said.

I was coming in and out of consciousness, but I felt I was in a fluffy place, probably a bed, and to my senses it seemed to be huge. I faintly glimpsed the colour red, one time when I tried to open my eyes, but darkness engulfed me soon after.

I lost count of time, and had no idea what was happening. I only knew that my pain was starting to fade, and my shoulder felt better.

But I felt inside me, that, If I wanted I could still die. It was my choice.
