Chapter 36

Y/N pov

I lay down on the concrete ground. I don't have any strength.

The punch have stopped few time ago, but I don't know exactly when. Time pass without I notice.

I thought the pain would be awful but the worst was that I didn't know what happen next.

Maybe I'll be kill. After my parents, and Penguin and all the people I killed, maybe my death is rightful.

From where I'm laying, I can see the shoes of my jailer. He is sit on a chair near of a black door. There is nobody else.

I was driffting in the darkness when I heard a loud explosion and screams.

My jailer stands up and takes his gun. He stands in front of the door, aiming at it.

I would like to move but my body doesn't react at all. I can just look at the door.

Damian's pov

Batman and I are on the roof of a building. It's the night.

'' Before we enter, promise me to not kill anyone inside '' my father tells me.

I clench my fist but nod.

'' I promise''

Then he throws a grenade throught a window which was a stage below us. There is a loud explosion and smoke everywhere. We put our mask and jump throught the, now, scattered window.

Penguin's men arrived in front of us as we go down the stairs.

Figth begin. I throw punch on the man closer to me. He falls on the ground knock down. Quickly I avoid punches and bullets.

After few minutes we can go on again. We arrive in the first floor. Men wait for us. I throw a sedative smoke bomb and they drop like flies.

As we go down the stair to reach the cellar, three men block our way.

My heart pound fast in my chest. I'm so close to her. I feel it.

Batman makes a sign me to continue. He will take care of them. I nod and jump above them, kicking the face of one of them in the same time.

I run down stair.

'' Y/N WHERE ARE YOU ? '' I scream at the top of my lungs.

The cellar is a real maze. There are too many doors.

I kick repetetively door after door, searching for her.

'' Y/N!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU ? ''

I stay silent, trying to hear an answer.

Suddenly I hear a whispere

'' Say a word and you'r dead '' someone whispere behind a black door.

I walk slowly toward it.

'' Y/N, are you behind ? '' I ask.

I hear the sound of the remove of a trigger. I take a deep breath and kick the door open. It falls on the ground in a crash.

I froze
