Chapter 9

Damian's pov

When we reach the roof of the police station, we had just the time to see the small robber go out of the building.

Quickly, Batman grabbed her arm and stopped her.

She turned around, shocked to see us.

'' You go nowhere ''said Batman coldly.

She seemed give up and followed us to the door to come back in the building. But when we arrived in front of the door, she beat Batman in his intimate part with her foot before kick him in his jaw. Surprise, he let her go as grunting of pain.

She began to run on the roof and shot toward me when I try to catch her.

She jumped from roof to roof, as we running after her.

Suddenly she jumped into the air duct of a building.

Batman couldn't follow her so I did. I crawled after her and received some kick in the face.

I saw her go out of the air duct to a dark room. I followed her carfully.

When I reach the room, I couldn't see her in the darkness.

I was about to turn on my flashlight when I heard the sound of someone who remove the safety of a gun. Quiclky, I was puched against the wall, a gun pointed on my head.

'' I don't want to hurt you '' said the small robber.

Y/N pov

I trapped Robin in a dark room and puched him against the wall, threatening him with my gun.

What I have to do now ?Do you have to shot him ? To kill him ? Can I kill one of the icone of the justice in Gotham ?

If I do that, I will be a real monster. He seemed to have the same age than me, maybe a little more.

'' I don't want to hurt you '' I said, more for myself than for him.

'' I don't want to hurt you too '' he reply. '' But you made a mistake tonight. You killed people. I have to arrest you ''

I pressed the gun against his jawline.

'' Shut up !''

I felt tears come in my eyes. I chased them shaking my head.

'' Shut up !'' I repeted. ''You know nothing'' I screamed '' I had to kill them. It was my life against their. I didn't want to do it.''

A tears rolling down my cheek.

'' I didn't want to ''I whispered. '' you know nothing ''

He looked down at me since he was taller than me.

'' You'r wrong '' he said looking at straight in my eyes. '' I know everything. I know that you didn't want kill people. I know that you'r not a killer. ''

Tears rolling down my cheeks even if I tried to stop them.

'' I know what Penguin did to you '' he said '' And I can help you ''

I gasped. I put my gun down.

 '' How ?''
