Chapter 5 - Sky?

(Mitch's Pov)

As soon as we woke up we headed back to the village. About half way to the village I saw a necklace around Adams neck. 'He never had that necklace did he' I asked myself. "Hey Adam were did You get that necklace" I asked. Almost immediately everyone was looking at Adam's necklace. "Last night before I fell asleep I saw... I saw... I saw a squid in a mechanical suit" Adam said that last part pretty fast but we all understood what he said. Then out of no where Jerome started laughing.

"That's hilarious Adam. but no really where did You get it" Jerome said with a small laugh. Adam gave him a 'I'm being dead serious' look and with that Jerome turned his head. "No fair why does Adam get a necklace and I don't" Putty said in a whine trying to ease the tension. Adam looked at here with rage in his eyes and said "Don't call me Adam call me SKY" He said almost yelling every word. Putty looked afraid at first then loosened up. "Shesh calm down Adam it was a joke" Putty said with a smile. "Is everything a joke to you that squid could of killed me, it could of killed all of us. And its all your fault. you know what everything was fine until you came just go back from where you came from" Adam said in a lecturing tone.

With that Putty ran off in the direction of the camp. "What was that. None of this is anyone's fault Adam" I said furious with him. Adam shook his Head like he was in a trance. " I don't know what came over me i would've never said that" he said looking down at his feet. We all realized that Putty would try to leave so we ran to village as fast as we could.

(Ash's Pov)

When we ran back to village and into my house to see Putty about to walk out the back door. "Putty wait you cant leave" I said and everyone agreeing with me. "Why should I stay. Adams right all of this is my fault" She said will give all of us a glare. "Putty I didn't mean anything I said, Something came over me" Adam said while looking at the ground. After a minute of convincing Putty decided stay. We all decided to go to the lake to just have some fun.

We all went swimming but eventually Jerome decided to go on land because his fur was weighing him down. "Hey guys were's Putty" Mitch said looking around. When we couldn't see her on the surface I decided to look underwater. I was about to head back to surface when I saw Putty's body floating to the bottom. Ounce I came to surface I told them what I saw "Guys I saw Putty floating to the bottom she's to far down for me to get her". I guess Jerome heard us because almost instantly he dove down to go get her.

Me, Mitch and Adam started to head back to surface to wait for Jerome. Jerome came to the surface holding Putty in his arms. He laid her on the grass but none of us really knew what to do. "Does anyone know CPR" I said taking charge. "I do" Mitch said starting to push down on her chest and blowing into her mouth (I don't know anything about CPR so my definition sucks). At this I could see Jerome tense up but that went away when Putty started to cough. "Putty your awake good" Adam said while we all hugged her. We put her up against a tree then Mitch asked "what happened why did you go under and not flail or something".

"I got into really deep thought and before i knew it I blacked out" She said looking into space a bit. Jerome gave her a big bacca hug and whispered "Don't ever scare me like that again". We all went back to the village and just sat in my living room and just started to talk. Adam started a rant about his precious butter then Putty said " Adam would you please shutup about your butter" she said looking slightly annoyed. "I said don't call me Adam CALL. ME. SKY" Adam said almost furious.

Adam shook his head like he was in a trance while we all stared at him. "Adam I think that necklace is messing with your head"Jerome said pointing to the necklace."Ya Jeromes right take it off" Mitch said. Adam tried to take it off but it was to tight."How did you even get it on Adam" I Asked."I already said my name is Sky" Adam said standing up. "Ok since it looks like we cant get the necklace off were gonna have to call him Sky for now. We all nodded and went to bed. 'Todays been chaotic hopefully tomorrows better' I thought before going to bed.
