Wha... Where am I and... Why does it smell like ink.

(Jerome's Pov)

I woke up the next day to a bird chirping in my ear really loudly. I shooed the bird away and got up and went over to Mitch's house." Hey biggums whats up" Mitch said noming on a piece of bacon. "nothing really" I said scratching the back of my head."that whole Adam drama last night was pretty weird" Said Mitch "ya but remember we have to call him Sky or he's gonna freak" "Right thanks, but that necklace is really weird" Mitch said while putting his plate in the sink. before I could say anything someone was pounding on Mitch's door. Right after Mitch said the doors open putty burst inside and she looked worried.

"have you guys seen Ash she wasn't at the house" Putty said while walking up to us. "I have'nt seen her what about you Mitch" I said turning my head towards Mitch. "No I have'nt seen don't worry maybe she just went out for a walk" Mitch said seeing that Putty was stressed out over this. "Maybe your right" Putty said calming down a bit. We all went outside to see Sky talking to somebody. "Hey guys" Sky said running up to us. We talked for an hour until Putty started getting nervous. "were is she its been an hour" Putty said looking around. None of us had anything to say because there was nothing we could say.I heard putty mumble something inaudible.'What did you say" I asked walking beside her.

"THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME EVERYONE LEAVES ME because I'm worthless" we were all taken back by what she said."Your not worthless" I said trying to comfort her. "yes I am Jerome because if I wasn't no one would leave me to be by myself" She said sulking her head, I saw a tear leave her eye and with that she darted into the woods.

(Putty's Pov)

I darted into the woods that I knew to well. I knew every tree, bush, pond and pit holes like the back of my head. I could here someone chasing after me, I knew it was Jerome because I heard him running on all fours. I could here Jerome getting closer to me so I decided to also run on all fours to get some distance. I started to take some sharp turns every chance I got but Jerome was still close behind. I almost got away when I tripped on a rock and tumbled until I sat down, I could here Jerome make a stop and stand up.

I just started crying. Not because I was hurt from tripping but because Everyone is leaving me. I thought Jerome would tell me to stop crying because Not everyone is leaving me but all he did was sit beside me. I eventually buried my head into his chest and kept crying. I eventually stoped crying stood up and leaned against a tree. Jerome stood up and said " Putty No one is leaving you. There's no way that Ash would just leave she must of gotten kidnapped". I was about to say he was right when someone else beat me to it. Someone in the woods said that he was right, "Who are you. Show your self" I said removing myself from the tree.

We saw a lava-creeper hybrid wearing a suit come out of the woods."Hey I'm Preston and as u can see I'm a lava-creeper hybrid" He said with a smile on his face."Well Preston I'm Jerome and this is my girlfriend Putty" Jerome said with that big 'ol bacca smile. I instantly decided to get down to business, "So Preston you said that Jerome is right about our friend Ash getting kidnapped" I said sitting on the ground assuming he was gonna tell us a story. After I sat down so did Jerome and Preston."Ya last night when I was just about to go home I saw 4 squids in robotic suits kidnapping your friend, I decided to follow the squids till a map fell out of one of there tanks the map leads you to there base" Preston said then proceeding to take said map out of his pocket and handing it to me.

I briefly looked over it than I put it in my pocket. Before anyone said anything else we saw Mitch and Sky running over. ' Finally there you guys are we have been running for like two hours' Sky said collapsing on the ground. As soon as Mitch was standing up right after bending over from the running his eyes instantly widened, "Preston? PURSTON!" Mitch said almost popping all of our ear drums."MITCH! How ya been buddy" Preston said running up to Mitch and hugging him."Umm... Is there something I missed here" Jerome said looking extremely confused as was I.

"Oh, Before I started hanging out with Jerome, Sky and Ash me and Preston were good friends until we lost eachother" Mitch said making us all less confused. We talked for a bit until Preston said he had to get home, On our way back to the village we told Mitch and Sky everything Preston told us and we decided that we would go on and look for the Squid Base tom morrow.
