Chapter 7
Dante was anxious that Olivia was doing so well and it was only her first night. He was in a work shirt, working his usual simple routine whenever he visited Venice to be around his dad's side of the family. He was always assigned to be a greeter to the girls.
You know, ask how they're doing, to assist them, get them anything if needed. If they wanted to see his abs, he had to let them see. Basically, he was eye candy that kept the customers rolling in. He didn't take it to offence, besides, sometimes he liked the attention. Other times, not so much.
Olivia may have been supposedly wiping down tables and sweeping the entrances of the building, but it was as if she was seen as the eye candy to all the guys. He couldn't count the number of times in just one hour that a guy walked up to her, asked for her number, asked to meet her in a corner or something. It didn't bother him or anything, he was just surprised.
Olivia would shyly say no, and kiss them on the cheek to be nice. That irked him a bit.
He guided a couple to their seats when all of a sudden he was being approached by Chase, who was in uniform.
"Olivia's bringing in so much money, man." He yelled over the music. "She's not even a waitress or a performer tonight and do you see how much she's getting in tips?"
"How much?" Dante's face fell.
"Like, over two hundred. Just for being around, looking innocently sexy, and smiling."
"Renee was racking in more though, right?"
Chase snorted. "Not even close."
Olivia walked up to them, in her black denim shorts, work shirt that looked really like a crop top, and her long brown hair down her back. Her eyes shined in excitement, "I love the ambiance here!"
Chase smiled wickedly at her and Dante rolled his eyes.
"It's only my first day and already I've gotten two hundred and twenty-one dollars in tips!"
"You earned it, sweetheart." Chase kissed her on the cheek and walked off to go greet some others walking in.
"Can you imagine how much more I'll get?" She continued. "I'm making so much already, and I haven't even gotten a paycheck!"
"It's obvious to you why though, right?" Dante couldn't help but initiate.
Olivia's smile softened a bit. "What do you mean...?"
"Renee's the best girl they had. Smokin' hot, blonde hair, nice set of blue eyes, nice curves on her. You're only getting that much because she's not here. If she were, you'd be coming in second for the amount of tips." He lied, already knowing Renee wasn't receiving nearly as much as Olivia was bringing in.
Olivia stared at him, the smile completely gone from her face.
"Hey Dante! Over here! Flash the abs!" A girl chanted, followed by her other girl friends sitting at the table.
Dante turned from Olivia, and winked at the girls and pulled up his shirt. The girls cheered, holding up cash in the air.
Once he kindly took the money, he turned back around to see that Olivia wasn't even there anymore. He thought nothing of it, thought she went back to whoring it up, and carried on with his business.

Olivia had her head over the sink in the bathroom, sniffling and crying so hard because of how much of a jerk Dante was being. She didn't care that a couple of girls would walk in, look at her weirdly and walk back out, or that Chase and the other brothers were constantly praising her for how good of a job she was doing.
