*Josh's POV*

Chloe and Tyler have been blowing me off for the last week

I have no idea what go into them and honestly I'm fed up of being rain checked, today's my birthday and I know how that's gonna go I....I'm gonna be all alone

I called Chloe because I was feeling lonely she picked up

"Hey Josh! um listen right now isn't a good time can I call you back?" she said sounding rushed once again

"No, no you can't" as soon as I said that I felt immediate regret but I was tired of being alone

She was quiet for a little bit then spoke up "I'll be over in 5"

Wow I didn't think that would work I should be demanding more often

She came right on time I heard the doorbell and I opened the door there stood Chloe with half her head blue "W-ha?" I stumbled

"Hey to you too" she smiled and pulled me into a hug I shook my head "No" I pulled away she gave me a confused look "No this isn't fair you shouldn't be treating me like this" everything I had bottled up inside was coming out

"You and Tyler haven't even talked to me in a week what have you guys been doing ?! Also are you even aware that today's my birthday? I don't want gifts I just wanted to spend my birthday with the people I love but I guess not!" I slammed the door in her face and screamed into a pillow I started pacing around

I usually never get this mad but this just ticked me off I went to my backyard and made myself a drink I was alone on my twenty second birthday

*Chloe's POV*

My planner worked ! He got mad I mean I feel bad but when he comes over to my house tonight he's gonna be so taken back

Everyone came just in time even Brendon my conversation with him went a little like this:

"Oh.My.God! You came you actually came!!" I let him in he laughed "Well yeah I wouldn't miss my buddy Josh's birthday!" he smiled and walked over to Tyler

Apparently Josh and Tyler toured with him for a little while..... HOW COME NONE OF THEM TOLD ME?!

I met Josh's mom and she's the sweetest person ever I also met his siblings and some of his friends It looks like so many people love him this makes me happy

I texted Josh

Me: Hey dork come over :)

Josh: Your not mad at me ?

I ignored the text

Me: Just come over !

I stood outside the door while everyone was hiding inside he rolled over on his skateboard and waved he kicked it up and came up to me he was going to lean in and kiss me but I couldn't risk Tyler seeing us I pushed him away

"Chloe come on it's my birthday you know" he let out a small chuckle I didn't respond and opened the door

"SURPRISE!!!" everyone screamed his face was priceless I swear I saw a tear in his eye he looked at me and gave me the biggest hug

"I want to kiss you so bad right now" he whispered in my ear seductively

"Easy tiger" I responded we both chuckled and continued on into the party

Josh looked like he had such a good time so far all that rain checking paid off I went upstairs to get some more plastic cups that I kept in my room

I heard footsteps behind me but didn't think anything of it I put my hand on the doorknob and someone turned me around and pulling me into a kiss it was Josh

I struggled to open the door with his lips on mine but I managed we stumbled into my room not breaking this kiss he picked me up I wrapped my legs around his waist we fell onto my bed and continued kissing he took off my shirt I stopped him

"Josh your parents are downstairs" I smirked he grinned "So?"

"So..We could get caught plus Tyler could come in whenever" I really wanted Josh but I couldn't risk anything he sighed "Gosh darn" he smiled "Maybe next time?" he winked at me

I punched his chest lightly "Your disgusting" I chuckled and put on my shirt

We headed downstairs and everyone was being so suspicious I sat down next to Ashley she turned to me "You and Josh have been up there for a while" she stupidly grinned I put my hands around her mouth and pulled her into the kitchen

"Ashley! His mom was sitting right there!" I scolded her she laughed "Come on like no one else feels the tension between you guys when you look at each other across the room!"

"Is it that obvious?" I felt my face get hot "Chloe...I'm pretty sure everyone knows you guys have the hots for each other" she chuckled at my stupidity

I rolled my eyes "What do I do?" she put her hand on my shoulder "You like Josh right?"

I nodded "A lot" she continued "Sooo why don't you guys just date?"

"Ash..look I can't Tyler would never allow that" I'm loyal to my brother and I obey him after all he has saved my life a couple times

"Chloe you can't keep letting Tyler control your life let alone your emotions I say go for it Fuck what Tyler thinks, Josh makes you happy don't let Tyler stop that feeling" she exited the kitchen leaving me to think

Ashley's right after all Tyler did date Kitana one of my friends so why can't I date one of his? I don't see the big deal Josh likes me and I sure as hell like him I want to make this work

I really hope he does too
