*Chloe's POV*

I woke up feeling much better Josh was laying next to me on his laptop answering emails

I didn't want to move but it was my first day back to school since the accident. Why is Josh up so early?

"Morning sunshine" he said not breaking eye contact with the screen "Why are you up so early?" I said getting up and walking to the kitchen he followed "I wanted to see how you felt in the morning" he poured a glass of water

"You could've just texted me" I answered walking into the bathroom to change I closed the door

he stood outside the door "It's not the same" he answered and started a conversation with Debby who was sitting on the couch

I put on my light jeans and a black sweatshirt that had a little grey alien on the front and put my hair in a bun I put on my scarf and grabbed my school bag "I'm leaving bye everyone"

I heard footsteps behind me "Chloe wait up Tyler and I gotta go to the city" I waited for them down the stairs and we all left we were walking to the train station

"Wait why are you guys going into the city?" I asked swiping my metro card they swiped theirs and we ran down the stairs to catch the train "We have to go to the Fueled by Ramen headquarters" Tyler answered excitedly

I smiled "I hope it goes great....but this is my stop good luck!!" I said hugging them and I left

I got home and didn't feel so well but I still had work today I came home to see Josh and Tyler on calls and they sounded pretty important

I sat in the kitchen and Debby was in there snooping on their conversations and she filled me in "So it sounds like they are making some kind of album" she said whispering "Oooo" I smiled and grabbed a glass of water Josh walked in and acted like nothing was happening

He hugged me "How was school?" he said wrapping his arms around me "Ugh" I replied he chuckled "Well once you get home I'll make you some of my moms famous soup okay?"

I smiled "Mhm" and pulled away from the hug "I gotta get to work see ya later guys!" I grabbed my backpack keys and phone and left

Throughout the entire night Josh was texting me and he kept making me laugh

Once it was time to leave my boss Mary stopped me "Hey Chloe I was wondering if you could wait here with Lilah" she pointed to the small girl hugging her arm "Her mother is running a little late" she smiled and I nodded "Of course!" I held my hand out for the girl to come she didn't like a day over 6

Mary whispered "She's really shy so just be patient if she doesn't answer you" I nodded "Gotcha"

The girl and I sat for about an hour in the auditorium and then I decided to find the mothers phone number and I called it it started ringing then a lady with a raspy voice started talking
