*Third person POV*
Ashton sat on the floor, his neck caught between Harry's hands, full of terror.
"Ashton, what the hell are you doing?!" he threw Ashton to the floor, identical black wings flaring above. Ashton's wings fell down, behind his back like a coward.
"He, he hurt her," he trembled in fear, wobbling when attempting to stand up.
Ashton wasn't scared of Harry, no, he was more powerful than Harry. More skilled. He was scared because Harry was there. He never thought her ever see him again, that he'd been lost to the Devil himself. But there he stood, feet in front of Ashton.
"That's not a fucking excuse! You've shown yourself to this whole school and now I have to clean up your mess!" Harry screamed at Ashton, but he didn't back down. Instead , Ashton's wings came into view again , his eyes matching. Rage filled within Ashton, the whole school beginning to quiet down to hear the fight.
"Clean up my mess?! Why do you think you have to clean it up? We don't even know each other anymore! I haven't seen you since that day, 5 years ago! You were suppose to come back!" Ashton slashed Harry across the cheek, making the older one of the two full with fire. Harry's eyes flamed over with red, this is the angriest he's been in a while.
Ashton and Harry, the two unlike brothers. One, Ashton, is an Angel and a Demon, but Harry, a Demon and an Angel. Both born in the Heavens, but at the age of 14, Harry was taken away by his Father to live with him in Hell. Their Mother, Elizabeth, was the head Angel. While their Fatger, Alexander, was the head of the Master. Also known as, the Devil.
Very cléche, but true. Ashton May be younger, but living with God himself have him an advantage. Or that's what he thought.
Harry smirked, rubbing his hand over the quickly healing scare that ran down the side of his face.
"You are going to regret that," Harry sing-singed.
Ashton laughed, stepping forward so that their faces were centimeters apart.
"Test. Me." And with that, the fight began.
*
Tables were thrown, chair were tossed, kids were huddled together in corners of the Cafeteria.
Curse words were being yelled back and forth between brothers. As known before, the two of then can do almost anything. So, of course, the kids were amazed by the violence that was happening before them.
Ashton, who was all the way across the room, put his hand out and grabbed three bricks from above Harry's head and made them drop down. Harry's tongue ran across his bottom lip, then a 'pop' was made between his tongue and the upper mouth.
"Was that suppose to hurt?" Harry did his signature smirk, and disappeared. Ashton spun around, trying to see what direction he would come from. Out of the blue, Harry popped up behind Ashton.
He grabbed Ashton's face and flung him backward, slamming him into the water fountain. He laid in the pile of bricks and flowing water, scratches filling his shirtless torso. He wasn't that hurt, physically. Mentally? pretty fucked up. He wasn't fighting half as well as he normally could, but neither was Harry. They both pretended to dislike each other, but they secretly just wanted to talk. At least one more time.
"I've always fucking hated you!" Harry stepped forward, spinning Ashton by his feet and letting him go. Ashton went soaring through a window, yelling in pain.
Ashton appeared in front of Harry, followed with so much anger his face was literally red. Scary sight.
"At least Mother loved me!" Ashton crossed the line there, but that's what he was planning to do. A random outburst about his mother would make Harry angry, which would help him get mad too. And if Ashton was angry, he could put everything aside and actually fight. Smart boy huh?
Ashton pulled Harry up by his throat, but before he was off the ground Harry had kneed Ashton in the stomach hard enough to make him release him. He would've vanished and transported somewhere else, but disappearing and reappearing is one of their few 'powers' that cause them pain. Not always, but if used many times in a row it does.
"She loved me too you asshole! I saved her!" Harry began kicking Ashton as he lay on the floor.
Ashton refused to let tears fall, but he could feel them trying to rise to the surface. He missed him , oh how he missed Harry, but he couldn't let him know that. He abandoned him, and never came back, he's suppose to hate Harry. But, he just couldn't.
"Saved her from what!?" Ashton's voice came out low and ragged.
"Death you idiot!" Harry clenched his fist, then punched the floor below. A huge crack formed and the teenagers squirmed around, fearful of their lives. The scariest thing about this is that Harry has been angrier before, many times before.
"You are the one who murdered her!" Ashton screamed out, he struggled and struggled, but he finally let the tears fall.
Supposedly, Harry was taken by his father only to plan the death of his mother. Cruel, but untrue. It's what Ashton was told, only to keep him from searching for his brother. Which he would've done, gone to hell himself just to get Harry back. They were that close.
"What?" Harry dropped to his knees beside Ashton. "I would, no. I would never..."
They sat there, in small amounts of pain while their gashes turned into small scrapes and slashes.
"Yes! Yes you did! You and Dad! You took her away from me. Now, you're going to take away the only one I love! They said you would! They all did!" Ashton sat up, almost swimming in tears. He was back to terrified, but not for his life. For hers.
"No I did not! I loved Mom! I would never hurt her. It was Father! I can't believe you'd ever trust them. "
"Don't do it. Don't take her away," Ashton's head was filling with evil images of his mother, but instead was Rose.
He couldn't take it anymore, his eyes turned to normal and his wings flashed away. Within two seconds, Ash was blacked out against the hard floor.
