Chapter 4

(Jay's POV)

After everything was explained about Menna's father we all went looking for her. "Where could she have gone?"

"I don't know brother. She couldn't have gone too far." My sister said.

"Jay." Doc. John said, "Could he have gone back to the cabin?"

"She could have but, it is far away from here."

"Then how about we send fighters and protectors to fun her." The Alpha said making all of us jump then turn around.

"She is deaf. So we have to have someone who can speak with her with their hands." I explained.

(Menna's POV)

When I went through the door I was able to hear things again. 'What is this place?' I thought to myself.

I looked around and realized that it was a office. I walked around the room and found a note on the desk. It was addressed to me.

"Dear daughter,

You are a special child with the ability to help others. I know you won't understand but, you are an alphas alphas daughter.

Be brave my dear. You are strong willed at eart, mind, soul and body.

Love your mom."

Once I was done reading the letter I willed myself to continue hearing when I walked out of the office. I was able to hear wolves howling in the distance. It sounded like a search party.

(Alphas POV)

I sent out a search party for Menna. "Hey Jay."

"Yes alpha?"

"Do you feel that in the air?"

"I do. What does that mean?"

"Do you remember your sister telling the story about Menna's parents?"

"Yeah about how her mother disappeared and no one was able to find her."

"I recognize this feeling in the air. Her mom has come back." I told him and mind link the search party, "Listen carefully. Find Menna and her mom will be somewhere near."

"Understood, alpha."

(Menna's mom POV)

It's been 14 years since I went missing. I sensed that Menna went deaf by leaving somewhere. I knew that my mate died which has made me weak. I just hope that I will still be alive to see Menna grow up.
