Chapter 11

So I am doing a new point of view this chapter!!!! And thank you for all the reads!!!!

(Sarah's POV)

I watched MENNA and alpha Joey talking about something but I couldn't figure out what. After a few minutes they stopped talking and MENNA got to work on making dinner.

'I wonder what that was all about.' I thought to myself as I walk to the living room to watch a movie.

Though I wasn't really paying attention to the movie I was more listening to MENNA sing to herself quietly. I can that she has a really good voice but then I heard her curse then water being turned on.

"MENNA, is everything alright in there?" I asked her as I got up from the couch.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, everything is fine. Dot worry about me." She said fast like she was trying to hide something.

'Alpha?'

'Yes Sarah?'

'I think MENNA hurt herself.'

'Alright thank you. You don't have to sit in the living room pretending to watch a movie.'

'I know I was also listening to her sing.'

'Ah okay.' He shut off the mind link and I started to pay attention to the movie.

I don't even remember what movie I put in. I think it was called Hotel Transylvania or something like that

(Alphas POV)

I was sitting in my office when Sarah mind linked me. 'Alpha?'

'Yes Sarah?'

'I think MENNA hurt herself.'

'Alright thank you. You don't have to sit in the living pretending to watch a move.'

'I know. I was also listening to her sing.'

'Ah okay.' I shut off the mind link and started cleaning my office to organize it.

Then I heard MENNA singing. "Like a wave it rolls away and towards you/Don't let it get you cause something might get you!/Oh let the sun shine on your future as the rain pours down on you/cause you never know what will come." Then she stopped singing to mumble something under her breath which I couldn't catch.

I wrote down the words to her song and put it away in my desk.

(Menna's POV)

"Like a wave it rolls away and towards you/Don't let it get you cause something might get you!/Oh let the sun shine on your future as the rain pours down on you/Cause you never know what will come." I stopped singing cause it was something my Pa helped me write. I mumble under my breath as I seasoned the mash potatoes, the chicken and the gravy that way they all had a nice good flavor.

As I put the chicken in the oven I put the mash potatoes in the microwave to keep it warm. The gravy I kept on low that way it wouldn't burn. Then I got out the French bread cut it open, melting the butter with some seasoning before putting it on the bread. My next step was putting out the plates, silverware, and cups on the table.

I checked on the chicken and saw that it was almost done, stirred the gravy and made some ice tea, juice and coffee. After the chicken was done I set it all on one plate in the middle of the table. I checked the time and it was 4:58. I placed the different types of drinks in the table before I worked in the deserts.

The bread was finally done so I sliced that up and put it in the middle of the table as well. I got to work on making no bake cookies, small cake, and some brownies. I looked back at the clock, whistled loudly and everyone came in, sat down and waited.

"Hello everyone, I am sorry about what happened at lunch. If you guys don't like praying then we don't have to pray. Don't like my food, then let me know and I'll let you make something else to eat." I passed down the chicken, then the mash potatoes, then the gravy. Once all those were done being passed down I passed down the bread and waited for that to come back.

"Hey, MENNA?" Sarah said.

"What do you need, Sarah?" I replied.

"Thank you for dinner." I just nodded my head, went back to the kitchen to work on deserts.

After 2 hours of working on deserts I watched three people came in with with dinner food. "Thank you." They set them on the counter and went back to the table. I set the cake in my right hand, the no bake cookies behind the cake and the brownies behind the no bake cookies. I walked out like that and slowly set the deserts down on the table, took my share of them and let them eat.

After they were done I cleaned the table and washed the dishes.
