Chapter 18

(WILLIAM'S POV)

I can't believe he commanded me to leave MENNA alone. I ran home to tell my dad about all of this.

"Boy. You are so stupid. She isn't your mate! Listen to what the Alpha tells you." With that he left me to go talk to the Alpha.

(MENNA'S POV)

When I got to my new pack I was on the ground not being able to breathe correctly. I was back in my human self holding my ribs. I blacked out, but before the blackness took over I heard, "MENNA!"

2 maybe 3 hours later I woke up in pain. I went to move but my hands were handcuffed to the bed. "MOM! DAD!" I yelled and they both came running in. "Why am I handcuffed to the bed!" I yelled at them. They flinched at my voice.

"Because..."

"You don't trust me! You want me to feel like a prisoner! Well you got your wish!" I thrashed around not caring if I got hurt.

"Calm down!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No! Because, I thought you would trust your own daughter flesh and blood!"

"Will you please shut up that way I can explain?!" My father yelled at me. I was shocked. "Thank you. Now we didn't hand cuff you or command anyone to hand cuff you. They thought you were a rouge." My expression went from shock to angry. "Your room is ready for you and you have your own kitchen to cook in." I just nodded my head. They took the hand cuffs off and I sit up.

"Which floor is my room and what room?" I asked.

"I'll have someone show you." My mother told me.

Someone came and I followed them upstairs to my room. They left after I went in. I just explored my room and kitchen.

In the kitchen was all the things I would need to cook for myself.

I got work on making a cake and cookies to eat by myself.

1 hour goes by and I check on the cake. It was done. I made icing and put it on the cake. I made a smaller batch of icing for the cookies. Once all the cookies were done I let them cool down before putting the icing on them along with the cake.

(WILLIAM'S POV)

I went inside the pack house to smell something cooking. I looked in the packs kitchen and saw no one cooking. 'Where is that smell coming from?' I thought to myself.

I followed the smell up the stairs to a room. I went to go knock when I heard someone humming.

(MENNA'S POV)

I felt a presence outside of my room. Without leaving my kitchen I opened the door with my witch powers. "Who is it?" I asked while cleaning up my mess.

"It's William. I would like to apologize."

"Come on in." I said as I put the cake on my small table in my room. He came in and sat at the small table to wait for me. I came back out with two plates, two cups, the cookies and small jug of milk.

"Shall we talk over food?" I asked as I got a couple cookies and a slice of cake.

"Sure." He followed my suit and ate.

"Okay. What do you want to talk about?" I asked as I poured us some milk.

"I would like to apologize for following you around and sending you dead animals. Especially making you mad." He said after eating what was on his plate.

"Understandable. Would you like some more?" I point towards the cake and cookies.

"Sure. Do you accept my apology?"

"I do accept but promise me that you will never do that again."

"I promise." With that he had one more cookie and slice of cake. He ate those and bid goodbye.

(ALPHA JAKE'S POV)

I see William going up to MENNA'S room then back down with a sad smile. "William?"

"Yes, Alpha? Do you need help or are you wanting to know why I was in MENNA'S room?"

"The second one."

"I went to apologize to her about me following her, sending her dead animals and making her mad. She accepted my apology and shard her desserts with me." He explained to me.

"Okay. What did she tell you?"

"She just made me promise to never do it again. Which I promised."

"You may go now." He leaves before bowing his head before I go up to MENNA'S room. "MENNA? May I come in?"

"Sure, dad. Just making myself something to eat."

"How did you know it was me?"

"Well, William knocks. You just stand there talking through the door."
