(Menna's POV)

I wake up on the couch by someone shaking me. I reached out and touched the hand to twist the wrist.

"Dear, you twist my wrist I will twist yours." My mother said.

"Sorry mom." I said as I sat up and stretched out my body.

"Alright then." She turned to the alpha and said, "You can talk to her now. I don't have much time left so I must go away to be with my mate."

"Wait, but mom! Don't leave me!" I cried.

"I am sorry, but it is my time." She said then disappeared to be with her love.

"Mom!" I yelled then started crying on the ground in front of the couch.

"Menna, come on. Get up please. I promised your mother that I would take care and protect you. And I will." The alpha told me calmly.

"You promise?" I said sniffling.

"I promise." He held out his hand for me to take, which I did and he pulled me into a hug.

"Alpha?" Someone called and I pulled away, hid behind him and stayed there.

"Yes Joseph?"

"Someone is here to talk with you."

"Thank you. Could you take my adopted daughter upstairs to the spare room?"

"Yes, alpha." He came towards me and I gripped onto the alphas shirt.

"Menna, it's alright. This is Joseph, my beta." I looked up at him then took a hold of Joseph's shirt and he showed me the way to the spare room where I will be staying in.

(Joseph's POV)

I was on my patrol on the border when someone came to me asking permission to talk to the alpha.

"Alpha." I said once I was inside the pack house after I told the person to wait outside.

"Yes Joseph?" He replied as a young girl ran to hide behind him.

"Someone is here to talk to you." I said.

"Thank you. Could you take my adopted daughter upstairs to the spare room?"

"Yes alpha." I said and took a step towards her but she cowards away from me.

The alpha told her, "Menna, it's alright. This is Joseph, my beta." She came out from behind him, grabbed onto my shirt and I showed her to the spare room.

"Thank you, beta." She told me and went inside the room and closed the door, locked it signaling to me that she wants to be left alone.

"Alpha." I mind link him.

"Yes?"

"She is in the room."

"Thank you. After I am done talking with the visitor I am going to take her cloth shopping. I need you to talk to Sharon for me."

"Understood."

I walked down the stairs and found Sharon in the kitchen. "Sharon."

"Oh, hello Joseph."

"Alpha wanted me to talk to you."

"Alright. About what?"

"He is going to take Menna out cloth shopping and I think he might need some help."

"Alright. I can do that." Then she went back to what she was doing.

(Menna's POV)

I went into my bedroom and thought to myself, "I miss my actual parents." I laid down on the floor instead of the bed and fell asleep missing them.

2 hours went by and someone knocked on my door. "Who is is and what do you want?" I asked annoyed.

"Easy child. It's alpha Joey and Sharon. We would like to know if you would like to go cloth shopping and get something to eat?" My adopted father said.

"Sure. Whatever will make you happy." I mumbled knowing they can hear me. I can out of my bedroom and followed them down stairs to realize that I don't even know my cloth size.

(Quick note: I changed the alphas name from John to Joey. I will be going back to fix all of that. And sorry for the late update.)

(Sharon's POV)

We went to the store and I saw Menna looking at the ground mumbling something to herself. "Sweaty?" I said getting her attention.

"Yeah?" She replied.

"Do you not know your cloth size?"

"Yeah." She looked down at her feet and fiddled with her old shirt.

"You can always try on shirt Los and pants to see which ones fit."

"Alright. Can we try the dresses first?" She asked.

"Sure if that is what you want to try on first." I looked up at alpha Joey and he nodded his head.

"Okay." She said and took a hold of her adopted dad's hand.

We got to the dresses and her eyes light up then went blank with no emotion. She did however run up to the dresses and looked at one dress in particular.

"Is that the one you want?" The alpha asked her fatherly like.

(Alpha Joey's POV)

"Is that the one you want?" I asked my adopted daughter fatherly like.

"Yeah it is, just don't know my clothing size." She confessed and looked up at me with a help look.

"We will help you out. How many dresses do you want?"

"2 dresses." She replied.

"Alright. So you want this one and what other one?"

She looked through the rack and pulled out a maroon colored one with red flowers on it.

"Okay. Hey Sharon?"

"Yeah."

"Could you help me find a couple sizes for her to try on for the first dress?"

"Sure can do." She walked over and pulled out a size 2 and 3. "Here you go sweaty. I'll show you to the dressing room and help you put the dress on. How does that sound?" She asked.

"Sounds good to me." She said with a bright smile. They walked away to the dressing room to come back 20 minutes later with one dress of the first one she chose.

"So a size 2 fits her in dresses. So, we will need the same size in the second one." Sharon told me. I grabbed a size 2 in the maroon dress.

"Alright. Do you want to go to the shoes first or last?" I asked her.

"Last. I want to go to the shirts, then pants, then skirts, then to the shoes." She listed off.

"Alright then. Let's get to shopping." I said happy.

We got to the shirts, pants, and skirts section.
