Chapter 10
•Katie's POV•
-----
"I spent your money well, Tomlinson!" I close the front door behind me and skip in front of the tv, waving my new phone around. Louis promised to buy me a new iPhone since he backed over my last one.
Long story, I don't want to talk about it.
"You're blocking the screen!" Niall snaps at me with a mouth full of chips. I turn around and find out that him and Lou are playing FIFA.
I scoff and give him a 'really?' look. I make my way into the kitchen, then dining room to look for Liam, but I don't find him. "You seen Liam?"
"He went back to bed after you left, I think." Louis says, eyes still locked on the television.
I walk out of the front room and down the hall to where Liam and I stay. I see that he's in bed, just as Louis told me, and I slide in next to him. "Hey, are you feeling okay?"
"I'm perfectly fine, love." He tells me.
"Are you? Really." He nods, but I'm not convinced. "Liam."
"It's just a stitch, it'll go away later." He says softly, with his eyes still closed.
I frown. "You sure?"
"Mhmm." He mumbles and pulls me to his chest.
"We can always do lazer-tag some other time." I run my hand through Liam's hair, messing around with it.
"No, I'll go."
"Okay." I sigh. "So, you're alright?" I look at him and he nods. "Promise?" Liam nods again. "Okay, I'll leave you alone now." I kiss his forehead and roll out from under the sheets.
I head back into the front room and see that Niall and Louis have gone, in place of Harry outstretched on the couch with his phone in hand. I sneak up behind him and grab the phone.
"Hey!" Harry's instantly up, attempting to get his phone back.
"This why you've been out so much lately?" He stops and looks to the floor. I glance at her picture to see long, wavy brunette hair, green eyes, almost that resemble Harry's, and blue glasses. "Caitlyn Termini. Pretty name."
"You're not being funny, Katie. Give it."
I slip his phone into my pocket. "Why wouldn't you tell us? It's adorable, Haz."
It's silent for a minute before he decides to speak. "I don't want the lads to jump to conclusions assuming that she's just some catty girl I brought home. 'Cause Caitlyn's different." He mumbles.
"Aww." I coo.
Harry's face turns red. "Shut up."
"Invite her to come with us tonight!"
He shakes his head no.
"Yes!" I whine.
"No."
"I'm calling her." I press the phone number assigned to her contact and it starts to ring.
"Katie, I don't-"
I bring my index finger up to my lips to signal that she's picked up. Harry glares at me and throws his middle finger up as I talk to Caitlyn. I explain who I am, and ask her to come tonight, which she happily agrees to.
"You can thank me later." I nod at Harry, placing the iPhone back in his hand.

We step out of the black van and are shoved into a circle surrounded by the body guards. Nine is quite the crowd. I try and keep my head down to avoid being blinded by the camera flashes and dodge the questions that are thrown at all of us. Oh, and I wouldn't forget about the piercing teenage screams.
