"Road day! Get up!" I can hear Niall yelling at us but my eyes won't open, "Liam!" he shakes the mattress.

I assume Liam wakes up when I hear the two voices bantering about as if there's a football game on.

My eyes flutter open when I feel Liam's lips on my forehead. "Ready?"

I prop myself up on my elbows and nod while a smile tugs at my lips. I am really excited to travel the world with Liam.

Travel the world with Liam.

It sounds so unreal.

"I really don't understand why you wear your jewelry to bed." Liam laughs and unhooks my infinity necklace that he gave me from one of my earrings. I hardly ever take it off.

I grab my phone off the nightstand and unlock it. I haven't checked it since yesterday afternoon and I should probably call Dad before we leave for the airport. The first thing that pops up is my contacts. I see a new number and scroll to the top to see Louis' name with a smiley face by it.

He wasn't snooping, he just put his number in my phone.

I try to decide whether to delete it or not. He is my friend so I should just keep it. Then again, I'm friends with the other boys and don't have their phone numbers.

I close out of the app to decide later on.

I grab the stack of clothes I had sitting out for this morning off the dresser. I pull on the black Soffee shorts that come almost halfway down my thigh and a t-shirt from when my dad and I went to some beach.

"Hopefully you weren't planning on wearing this?" I hold up Liam's green Jack Wills hoodie. It's my favorite on him but I haven't seen him wear it in ages.

"Go ahead." He laughs and walks over to help me. Once I have it over my head he gathers my hair and pulls it out from the back then holds out the sleeves for me to push my arms through.

He's so sweet, it makes my heart melt.

I grab my phone before leaving the room and dial my dad's cell.

"Hello?" His voice is laced with sleep.

Oh yeah, it's 4:30 am.

"Sorry, I forgot it was so early." I walk to the island of the kitchen, peering over to see Niall, Louis, and Harry.

"I don't mind, Katie," he laughs faintly, "what's going on?"

"I was just calling to say we're about to leave for the airport."

"That's right, you leave today. Where to first?"

"Australia, I believe." I reply. Louis looks over to me and mouths 'you hungry?' but I shake my head no.

"Australia," my father repeats, "I hear they have the weirdest accents on the map." He jokes.

"We'll see," I laugh, "I'll call you later."

"Bye."

----

When we get to the airport, Caitlyn is standing outside the stairs to board the jet. It's unfair that Modest made an exception for me, but Caitlyn has to stay back in London. She and Harry exchange their goodbyes and I flash a smile on my way by her.

"Katie," she stops me and hands me a small slip of paper, "in case you ever need to talk to a girl."

"I actually might need this." I giggle and shove the number into the pocket of Liam's hoodie before climbing up the rest of the staircase.

The interior is much larger than it looks from the outside. There's six seats on either side of the jet and food everywhere.

We all take our seats and I check the time before shutting my phone off. It feels like it's been longer than two hours and my eyes feel extremely heavy. Before I know it, I'm drifting off in to a dark sleep.

•Liam's POV•

Before the plane has even taken off, Katie's sound asleep. I love the way she looks in my hoodie. I purposely laid it on the top of my drawer because I knew she would wear it. She always has. I swear, Katie has worn that sweatshirt more times than me.

I can see her shivering slightly so once the jet is stable in the air I softly lay a blanket over her. She's always cold no matter how hot it is outside.

Harry and I have a small conversation before I fall asleep myself.

----

Yet the second time today, I'm jerked awake by two hands gripping my shoulders. It's Louis.

"Stop!" I jump up to my feet by Katie's piercing scream.

"She won't wake up, I've been trying forever." Louis points towards her. Tears are stained down the sides of her cheeks and she's throwing her arms and legs everywhere.

I restrain her limbs, and once they stop moving I wrap my arms around her. "Katie." My thumb lightly brushes a tear away.

Her eyes snap open and she instantly begins sobbing. I take her hand and pull her into some random room into the back of the jet. Thick tears are flowing from her eyes and she won't look at me.

"I knew I shouldn't have watched that stupid movie." Katie says between sobs. I shouldn't of let her, I know how she gets.

"Are you okay?" I already know the answer. She shakes her head and throws herself into my arms, crying louder than before.

"You'll be alright, baby." All I can do is wait for her to calm down, so I rub my hands up and down her back. She finally becomes silent so I push her from me. Katie's eyes are bloodshot but she's no longer crying.

We're interrupted by Paul peeking through the door, "We'll be landing soon, take your seats please."

•Katie's POV•

The nearest airport is a two hour drive from Melbourne. I hate driving for long periods of time and I refuse to go to sleep after what happened earlier. I spend the whole ride sitting in the back of the bus with my head on Liam's lap. The tour bus eventually pulls in front of the arena and the boys pile out to go do wardrobe, makeup, or whatever is going to take them a full three hours before the show.

My stomach grows, reminding me that I haven't ate anything at all today.

"Can I grab something to eat really quick ?" I point at a cluster of fast food restaurants down the street.

"I'm sure you have more than enough time." Liam jokes and then connects our lips before I start walking.

I decide on McDonalds, it seems the least disgusting out of the three choices. I'm not too big of a fast food fan, but I do like it sometimes.

After I sit down I recognize a familiar black hair and leather jacket one booth down.
