Chapter 21: 'Home'

Louis POV

"I'm tired you guys! My legs are killing me" Maddie whines, she had been doing this for at least 20 mins now. She was upset because we had to walk to get to the car dealership, there wasn't any nearby cabs.

"We're almost there. Only a 10 more minute walk." i tell her. I was carrying one of her suitcases plus one for myself, Harry was carrying the another one from her and some other bags, all Maddie was carrying was a backpack. But who could blame her, she was a very fragile girl.

"I have an idea, jump on Mad's"

"What?" she says surprised at Harry's offer. He wanted to give her a piggy back ride, but she refused saying she was too fat. "Really, c'mon. Madison Evans you better get on now" Harry tells her trying not to laugh.

She giggles rolling her eyes, but ends up walking to Harry who was bent down ready for her to hop on.

"Harry if i'm too heavy let me know so i can get off"

"Nonsense, you're super light" he hugs her legs and she places her hands around his neck. To be honest i was pretty impressed in how, Harry was holding 3 luggages, and a duffle bag.

"Anyways, c'mon let's go!" i feel something churn in me, it was going to be hard to see Maddie flirting with Harry and back and forth. It killed me seeing them almost kiss twice already, first in the carnival and then when we stopped because Harry had to pee.

I know i should just be happy for Maddie, but i can't. I love her, maybe too much to be possible, i just hope i won't get that hurt.

"Louis? You okay?" Maddie asks interrupting my thoughts.

"Yeah yeah sorry haha. Just got a bit distracted" she nods and we keep walking through the busy streets. As much as i tired in not paying attention to Harry and Maddie who kept laughing loudly. I decide to walk before them, so wouldn't get to see them.

Maddie had just told me everything about what had happened since i was gone. Things were that Jason was dead, and that he betrayed the boss. Harry told us that now even our boss was after Maddie so we couldn't be able to tell him where we where at. I feel this relief, in knowing i no longer belonged or work for The boss, and for Jason.

We finally get to the car dealership. We checked out 2 cars, one for Harry and for myself. got a black range rover and i got a .

"So here is the address for the house we will be staying at. Since we have our own cars let's head out" I explain to them.

"Okay, who am i going with?" Maddie asks me, i look at her surprised she was still on Harry's back, and she seemed pretty comfortable considering her chin was on the top oh his head. I roll me eyes taking in a deep breath, i was trying to keep my calm. I had just made up with Maddie, i wasn't going to ruin it just because of a jealous act.

"How about you go with Harry" i didn't even want to see her reaction so i walk over to my car jumping in. I start the engine, when i hear a knock on the door, i look to see that Maddie was there standing. I put my window down, maybe i gave them the wrong address. I ask what she wanted.

"I want to come with you" she squeaks out. "Well only if you want to tho." she looks at me her smile warmly laid on her plump pink lips.

"HELL NO" i say her smile slowly fades. "I'm joking hop in you dork" she let's out a laugh and i unlock the door.

"Your a big meanie Louis... but i love it" she gives me a slap in the arm, and i fake cry.

"I know you do!" she gets in and we head to the house, it was a 20 min drive.

"So how you feeling?"

"Alright i guess, i can't really complain. Like i could be dead by now if Harry wouldn't have saved me" she says a wash of relief on her beautiful face.

"Yeah, i guess your right. So since we're out of danger how about we start going out more, but this time i will take real good care of you"

"Promise?"

"Promise. So what do you want to do when we get 'home'?. And i say home because this is where we will permanently stay, we can call it home." I tell her, since we had all pitched in to pay for the house. We all had loads of money so that wasn't a problem.

"Well first i want to get setup in my new room. I'm pretty tired Louis, we've been sitting in a car for 17 hours, we got up just for eating and peeing. I'm surprised my butt didn't get attached to the seat." i nod my head agreeing with her. "But i am pretty excited about the new house!! Right now it's 5:50pm and i don't feel the mood in going out today..."

"Yes, i know you're going to love it. I know you so well that i'm sure your jaw is going to drop as soon as you see the house. And i understand, i am pretty tired of driving around"

"Okay tommo i'm taking your word for it!!" she sits back watching the view. While i every so often would take in a glance of her beautiful features.

"Oh my, look at all the trees!! It's so beautiful right!!"

"Yeah you are" i comment, not losing my sight from her. She looks at my with a small blush, i loved it when she got embarrassed. "Your the most gorgeous girl i ever laid eyes on"

"Louis, please stop. Pay attention to the road!!" she puts her hand on her face blocking my view.

"Okay fine...."
