You and Shiro have been dating for the last year. With you being sort of shy and him being the noble guy he is, you two were taking your relationship at a good pace. It wasn't a bad thing, you just wanted to form a true bond with each other. The last time you had time alone with Shiro was about a week ago. And it was getting under your skin. You wanted to spend time with your boyfriend, but both of your schedules have been packed for the last month or so. In order to reduce stress, the team scheduled a 'bum day' when everyone could just hang out for once. That day was tomorrow, and you couldn't wait.

The next morning, you stood in the kitchen waiting for Shiro to wake up. One by one the paladins wandered into the kitchen, Shiro being the last one to arrive. He yawned as he came over to you. Your back faced him as you made breakfast for the both of you. "Good morning, sunshine." He came over to you and nuzzled into the crook of your neck and pressed his body to your back in a hug. You felt his soft breaths kissing your skin as he held you.

"Morning, babe." You said as you turned around in his grasp to face Shiro. You rested your arms around his neck. "You look hot with bedhead, you know that?" You flirted as the two of you eyed each other.

"Well," Shiro started, looking you up and down. "Those pajama shorts show off your great butt." Shiro said while smirking slightly while inching his hands down your lower back.

"Get a room you two." Lance yelled from the table. His face mask twisting in disgust.

You and Shiro stopped and blushed momentarily. "Sorry for the inconvenience, beauty queen." You teasingly apologized.

"You are forgiven." Lance announced.

The two of you ate breakfast, stealing glances at one another. Eventually, you and him were the last ones in the kitchen. "Well, seems that we're finally alone." Shiro said as he looked over at you eating your unfinished breakfast.

"How have you been these last few days, I barely see you." You asked Shiro.

"Same old. Just saving the universe." He said as he winked. "How about you?" He slid an open hand across the dining table. You gladly took it.

"Stressed because I couldn't spend time with you." You pouted. His grip tightened on your hand.

"Well, I'm here now. I'll make sure we can go on missions and stuff together in the future. Our time together really matters, plus we're a pretty good team."

You brushed your thumb over his knuckles. "I would love that." He smiled at you.

"Mm come here." He stood up from his chair and leaned across the table, puckering his lips for a kiss.
You giggles at his antics and leaned in. He cupped your face as he pecked your lips.

After you finished breakfast Shiro and you were taking a walk around the castle, trying to explore the huge structure. After you rounded a few corners he took your hand in his. "I didn't know this window was here." Shiro said in amazement. The large window had a beautiful view of the body of water that surrounded the beautiful Altean castle.

"Didn't even know this part of the castle existed." You said in amazement. "Come on, lets explore some more!" You said in an excited tone. You lead the way through the corridors until it came to a small tunnel. "Where even are we?" You asked?

"Maybe it's the dungeon." Shiro said.

What would Allura even keep in a dungeon?" You pondered.

"A dragon, a prisoner, treasure? The stereotypical dungeon things?"

"Maybe. Only one way to find out." You took is hand as the two of you headed into the small tunnel. "It's kind of cramped." You said apologetically.

"Don't mind." Shiro replied flirtatiously, putting a hand on your lower back. You blushed a deep shade of red.
The tunnel went on for what seemed like forever. Eventually the tunnel got small so you and him started to crawl.

"I don't see an end ahead." You said, trying to see ahead in the tunnel.

"I see an end." You heard Shiro say from behind you. "Sorry, I've been spending too much time with Lance."

You laughed. "No, it's okay. I've never heard you joke so much, it's cute."

"Well maybe I should try it more often." Shiro smiled sweetly at you. You were about to smile back when you suddenly heard a creak. The next thing you felt was a brief free fall and then the hard floor. You looked around in shock. Your eyes caught Shiro's, above you two was a opened hatch in the ceiling that dropped you two in the middle of one of the castle hallways. Shiro must have seen the confusion on your face. "I don't know, (Y/N). I don't know." You looked at Shiro and laughed.

"Well, that was a nice little adventure! I don't care that my butt hurts, I got to spend time with you!" You said throughout your laughing. Shiro gave you a hug. The both of you just sat there, hugging. With you above him and him having you cradled in his arms. You held him back. The two of you pulled away and you placed your hand on his well sculpted face. "I love you, Shiro." You said as you leaned in for a kiss. Shiro returned your kiss and grabbed your waist with one hand and your neck with the other.

"And I love you, (Y/N)." Shiro said to you in between kisses.

"Good grief, do you guys ever stop touching each other?" It was Lance's voice. You and Shiro looked to him in embarrassment and agitation.

"You're just jealous because you're single." You teased.

"Ooh (Y/N). Nice one!" Shiro said, kissing your temple. You turned your head and kissed his lips. You didn't hear another complaint from Lance.
