Chapter 10

Phil's POV

After getting to school me and Dan went our separate ways after an intense make out session in the bathroom and I scurried off to calculus. I walked in and sat at my usual desk, dreading the rest of the hour without Dan. We had grown even closer after we realized we both had feelings for each other. Dan was always either at mine or I was at his. Im   in love with Dan, have been for 5 years and I can't believe I can finally call him mine. I look up to a beautiful girl. She had long brown hair in two braids and a baggie purple sweater with black skinny jeans.
     " Hi, is this seat taken? " she asked me and pointed to the desk to my right. I shook my head no and she sat down. " I'm Gabby! " she said and smiled enthusiastically.
     " Hi! I'm Phil! I haven't seen you around before and I noticed your American accent. " I stated and she nodded her head.
     " Yeah! I just moved from the states here. Parents got a new job and we packed up all our stuff and hopped on a plane. " she stated excitedly. I giggled at her adorableness and she shone me a toothy smile. " So what about you? I just told you my life story, not really. Tell me something about you! " She questioned.
     " Oh uh. I'm originally from the North but moved here when I was 6. I don't have that many friends except my best friend and now boyfriend Dan. Uh, and that's it. Not much going on in my life. " I chuckled and her face lit up at the sound of Dan.
     " You have a boyfriend? That's adorable! I totally support the LGBTQ community. I mean I just don't understand homophobes to be honest. They say it's not natural, but according to the dictionary, natural is something not man made. We didn't make love so it's totally natural and people are stupid. " She ranted and I stared at her in awe. You could tell she was passionate by the fire in her eyes and the way she moved around. She breathed in deeply and apologised. I told her it was fine and the Mr. Sunny walked in, bright eyed and bushy tailed, ready to start the class. We both started paying attention to the boring lesson but at the end of it I noticed a small slip of paper found its way on my desk. I flipped it over to find a number and Gabby's name. I smiled at her and walked out the classroom excited to see Dan again.
