Being lost in the wake of day
Alone with no one to say I'm ok
Being lost and being away
By myself with the strain of the fray

[ narrator]

Lorelei is a simple girl, with long black hair and huge brown eyes. The doe-eyed girl was about 22 years of age and stood at a not so mighty 5 feet 3 inches.

5 inches shorter than the shortest sideman.

Lorelei had confidence problems. She wasn't exactly the most happy about her body type but she didn't hate it. She was thinner in the waist and a little bigger in the thighs than she would like. Although it was nice to have curves it made it impossible to find jeans in her size.

Although she worked out all the time she never seemed to get rid of the collective in her thighs.

She had taken up a new hobby in the past week, which was football. She had loved it all her life, even though she liked all the teams she was proud to say Millwall FC is her favourite.

Even though she had nobody to play with, she would work it out. Somehow.

Being alone for most of her life has taken a toll on young Lorelei, for she now convinces herself that she doesn't need anyone.

Even though deep in her heart she knows everybody needs someone, she just doesn't have someone.

Lorelei's brain works in mysterious ways for being alone is the main reason that she is a mild insomniac. Though her coworkers can never tell because she's never tired. They say they've never seen her yawn a day in her life.

Her brain finds it very hard to think negatively even if she wants to, which makes it 10 times harder to cry and grieve than it normally would be.

Even though on the inside constant sadness overwhelms her being, on the outside nothing but unchosen forced happiness shows on the outside.

Lorelei is like 2 people at the same time, but she's not crazy. Just sad and lonely even though she's too afraid to admit it.

The last time she was really truly happy on the inside is when her coworkers surprised her at her birthday about 4 months ago.

None of her coworkers are really friends although they consider her a very nice person who is also very sweet. None of them had talked to her enough for them to be friends. But she always did things for them, so they only thought appropriate to give her a surprise party.

They didn't know how much it meant to her. Especially since they didn't know she was alone.

Lorelei is a cake decorator.

One of her amusements along with football and rollercoasters.

The only things that really truly made Lorelei happy was Tobi, Josh, her job, and her grandmother.

But now she only has her job.

It makes her somewhat happy.

So that's all that matters.
