today i shall take a flight
fall asleep and i just might

[ lorelei's pov ]

i've stayed at chip's flat through the whole day after i packed, only because we needed some help. i guess simon, told him that i was a cake decorator and he needed some input on how to decorate this cake he made.

don't exactly remember what it was for but he said it didn't exactly have to look nice there just needed to be a lot of random stuff on it.

but i'm still here hanging with chip, tobi's flat is somewhere in the building i just don't remember what number it is.

"and so cal has been smelling like macaroons for a long time."

my focus goes back to chip as he laughs at his own story, i rate him so much honestly.

"tired? we should get going we gotta be at the airport 2 hours early."

"yeah, i'm exhausted. definitely gonna fall asleep right when i get on the plane."

he takes my bag to the trunk for me as i sleepily trudge to the passenger seat of his car. he turns on some relaxing music letting me close my eyes and loosen up.

"i'll try and be careful of bumps in the road, get some sleep."

"thank you josh."

"josh....you can call me chip lorelei."

"i know....." i say nodding off to sleep to the sound of soothing music and the fading daylight.

"i wish you knew how much i love you."

out phasing

and suddenly i'm awake as i feel 2 arms carrying me out of a car.

"chip, i'm awake. you can let go."

"you're already bridal style though."

"but chip- ooooo ok." i say as he unsteadily puts me down my feet only just keeping balance to the ground.

"alright, lets go. the boys are probably in there already waiting for us, wait chip?"

"yeah?" chip asks stopping in place before turning around to look at me with a slight smile.

"do i look bad? i know i just slept for an hour and a half."

"never, you look great."

"really?"

"i don't have a reason to lie right?"

"i dunno, suppose not."

"good, because i'm not."

i've only known chip for 2 days now, but he's one of the sweetest people i've ever met.

"you're very sweet josh."

"you can call me chip, it might get confusing."

"i know."

"but?"

"nothing."

i smile at him as we take our seperate bags into the airport. ethan turns around and sees me with a wide grin letting go of his luggage.

"i'm glad you guys made it, but we gotta hurry or we might miss our flight."
