telluric currents – chapter fifty three

Scott and I followed Allison into her room.
"So I was looking through one of his drawers and I found this." She held up something but before we could see it, we heard the elevator, which means her dad's home. "He wasn't supposed to be back yet."
"What do we do? Where do we go?" Scott asked in panic.
Allison opened her closet, pushing Scott and I into it and closing the door. We had to squeeze to fit in and my head was pressed against Scott's chin. I guess Allison found a place to hide, too. Scott and I looked at each other in silence. I furrowed my eyebrows when I noticed that Scott looked like he was holding his breath and I felt something against my tight. I looked down for a second and back to him. I can't believe he's got a boner right now.
"What are you doing?" I whispered.
"Nothing." He whispered back, not looking at me.
I bit my lip, trying not to laugh. "Part of you is doing something."
"Oh. Sorry." He said and I pressed my lips together.
"Stop." I scoffed.
"I kind of don't have control over that." Scott mumbled and I closed my eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath so I won't laugh.
"Okay, well, let me turn around" I said, slowly moving my body.
"Yeah, totally." He said, so now, my back was pressed against his chest.
But it was still there. Against my jeans.
"Cassie." Scott whispered.
"What?"
"That's worse."
I smiled, trying not to chuckle so I put my hand over my mouth and Scott chuckled softly, so I turned back and he was smiling at me.
