It is the night that everyone has been waiting for. My hair and make up is one again done with the company of Josh, and I debate what to do with my hair. I finally get bored and look on the internet for ideas. It is not long before I find the one I want and I quickly start using the instructions for how to do this. You start by curling the hair. Then tighing it up in a point ponytail and putting a clip in the beach to push it up. The hair then gets wrapped around the clip and using hair slides is put into place. It sounds very confusing, but looks very pretty.
My dress was styled to match the boys suits and none of us have seen our outfits yet. We take our bags downstairs and hand them on the hooks for the big reveal. After three were all remove or clothing from the bags and I fall at how beautiful my dress is. It is black and white and. The pattern on it is just stunning. I look at the boys suits to see that their toes ask have the same pattern on. Their doors are not the same though, they are all very gorgeous but very different. Our stylist has really out done herself this time. At least we know that no one will be wearing the same outfit.
We put on our beautiful outfits, take a quick selfie for Facebook and Twitter. We then jump in the minibus, which is also black and white, and set off for the big live evening. Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and other artists will be performing. This is my first awards night. And to be nominated for one singularly and two add a group I am so excited and grateful.
When we arrive, not many people are there, we go and find out table and see that we are sat with One Direction. They are not here yet, but I am sure they will be arriving soon. People come over and start talking to the boys, they introduce themselves to me and I am stunned that these people no who I am. Lady Gaga and Will.I.Am just said hi to me. This is awesome.
As more and more people arrive, the public begin to take their seats too. One Direction finally arrive and we all start talking about what this night is like normally, and what happens if you win an award. They completely educate me on this facts. The lights go down and everything begins. Katy Perry starts the show of by singing Unconditionally. Her voice is amazing and I can see that she is loving opening the Brits 2014.
The awards have started to be dished out and the nominees for the Hottest Female in music go up on the screen. I am up against Katy Perry, Rhianna, Taylor Swift and Ellie Golding. "And the winner for the hottest female in music is," my heart immediately starts to beat harder than ever, and my hands begin to shake, this could be it. "Jessie Love!" Everyone immediately begins to clap and cheer, everyone is on their feet and I give a few hugs before stepping to take my award.
"Wow," I say in complete shock. "This is amazing. I had never expected this. I have only been in the industry for a couple of weeks and I have already picked up a brit award. I want to thank everyone for voting, friends and family, but most importantly the four people that mean the most to me. Josh Cuthbert, JJ Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley, and George Shelley, for giving me this amazing opportunity. Thank you."
I return back to my seat and everyone around me comes over to congratulate me.
All in all, the band picked up one award, best video, One Direction picked up three and I got my own special one.
I could not be more appreciative.
