Chapter 5
I stand and study the beautiful cut-outs infront of me. I am completely frozen and curious with what the note said. What does this mean? Maybe i should have worked it out. I'm told all the time that I should be blonde not ginger.
I move the pieces to my room and line them all up to take a photo for facebook. They look beautiful infront of my many posters of the same people. Union J are without doubt the most perfectest people EVER! I can understand that some may disagree with me, but this is just my opinion.
I lie on my bed staring at them for a while, wondering what I should do know to stop me from becoming a lemon. I ponder on things to do, and decide to call Molly, she will understand my problem. I hear the recorded message to say she can't get to the phone, I laugh because it's my voice, it's the recorded message i made.
I give up calling her after the third time, thinking she is probably out with her friends. As i hang up the phone, the door opens and i hear voices. I come out from my bedroom, seeing my parents stood in the doorway talking to Sherry, how they got home in this weather i don't know. As they see me they freeze. I ask them how their important trip was, emphasising the important because i still don't believe it was. They say they did everything they needed to and had fun at the same time. Not going to lie, i'm kind of glad they were out for a two days because dad can get a bit stressy ,but i still love him, i mean i have to, he's my dad, right?
I can't be bothered to ask where they have been, or why they went, so i just return to my bed and refresh my news feed. I see the most amazing thing ever. A chance to be IN Union J. i mean literally IN Union J. Become a celebrity IN Union J. I have to tell mum, i have to make her let me go to the auditions, i can't miss this!
As i tell mum, i can see her trying to hold back a cunning grin. I just ignore it as I continue to persuade her.
"Of course you can go," she says still trying to fight that grin, "But you have to promise me you will not get your hopes up too much. There will be lots of people there, wanting the same thing."
I scream in excitement and can't wait to tell everyone i know about it. This is so exciting. I'm going to get the chance to sing infront of Union J, the bestest boyband ever! I grab my singing folder and look at every song so carefully, studying the lyrics to see if they mean anything to me. I finally choose 'Rolling in the Deep' by Adele, i would have chosen 'Amaze me' but we were banned from signing their songs, much to my disappointment.
Once i have finished singing the song my mum comes in clapping, telling me i'm too good to be true. She's so embarassing, i hate it sometimes! But i know that she's just trying to boost my confidence, i don't really sing infront of a microphone and for competitions, but i can't miss this.
