•• Youngjae's POV ••
I came running down the stairs as fast as I could without tripping. "Babe?! Babe!" I called out to Jaebum, and to my calls, he ran out the main living room and caught me in his arms. "Why? What's wrong?" He asked, just as panicked as I was.
"Yuggie's gone! He's not in his room! I asked all the maids, they haven't seen him anywhere!" I exclaimed, still a little out of breath from running all around the place. "Well... Maybe he just wanted some fresh air. Let the kid be... Even if it's for one night?" I glared at him.
"Did you not hear what I just said?! Yuggie is out there, he's barely an adult! He just turned 18! What if he gets in an accident or... Worse?!" I yelled. All the mixture of anger, worry and panic boiled in me.
I was mad at Yugyeom for his behavior lately but given the current situation, I was super worried for my little brother that I was really panicking.
I mean, he's never done this before! Plus, he always is with another person whenever he's out! This might sound super over protective of me, but I always make one of the maids go with him. I just want my brother safe.
Jaebum sighed as he stroked his fingers through his slick, sweaty hair. "Fine, we could ask the others and the kid's friends if they saw him and if we don't find him by midnight, we'll call the cops. Sounds good to you?" He smiled, patting my head.
I nodded and whispered a small "It does..." and looked away. I heard him chuckle, probably finding it cute. I shook my head, I still needed to deal with the problem at hand. Yugbaby was still missing. I grab his arm and drag him out the door "Come on! We're finding my brother!"
•• Yugyeom's POV ••
My hands were sweaty my mind was spinning and my breath hitched as my heartbeat grew faster and louder with every step. All this made me nervous... I've never actually ran away before, mostly because I never muster enough courage to and I never really did have a place to run away to.
But now I did... Good thing too that he wasn't quite far from where I lived. I was lucky he moved nearby, or else I would've missed him too much for my liking. Fortunately, all I had to do was a quick 15 minute walk and I was going to be in front of the house of the person who helped me through it all.
Even though the cold night was absolutely freezing, I still continued my plan of running away. I was so stupid for not bringing a coat or even my jacket along with me but I just had to endure it for a bit more...
Just a little longer... I kept reminding myself.
•• Jackson's POV ••
"WHAAAT?!" I heard Jungkook exclaim loudly from the booth where he was sitting. He had picked up a phone call just as we were about to get to the ending of this action comedy movie they had chosen.
Curiosity hit me as I listened in a bit. I mean, he was being so loud how could I not? Plus, Sungjong was also listening in as well. "No, he's not here!!" Jungkook yelled at the device while he waved his hand around aggressively.
He made a deep sigh and said calmly "We'll help you. Just come by the cafe... And... Don't worry, we'll find him." He uttered the last part out in a softer and kinder tone, then hung up. Sungjong and I scurried back to our seats on the couch, acting as normal as possible.
Namjoon grinned and Jin rolled his eyes muttering under his breath. Jungkook came back and raised an eyebrow "I know you two eavesdropped. I'm not blind, I saw you. And I'm not deaf, I heard you two running like idiots back to your seats" He shrugged and sat next to Namjoon, who was laughing his a** off.
My mouth hung open as shock overwhelmed me. Not because of all that, but because of the fact that he could speak so informally to his elders like that, without even a stutter. Gee, talk about evil maknae material. I shook my head, snapping myself out of my own thoughts.
"Anyways, who were you on the phone with?" I asked, straightforwardly. He took a deep sigh, preparing to explain...
•• Yugyeom's POV ••
Youngjae was probably searching for me right now, maybe even called the guys, but I had more problems. Like the frosty cold night that's seriously giving me a cold.
Bad news, I'm definitely sick. Good news, I arrived at my destination. A fairly big white house stood infront of me. Unlike ours, this one was more open and was actually in a neighbourhood while ours was more of into the woods and had more land. In more accurate words, lonely.
I walked up to the familiar wooden door and rang the doorbell. It made a nice ringing sound as the lights in the house turned on and I heard footsteps indoors. I smiled as my best friend opened the door "Yugyeom ah?" He asked, surprised. I mean, it's not everyday you find your best friend knocking on your door at 10 in the evening.
"Bambam ah~" I greeted him and bowed, rubbing my shoulders as they got cold. I sniffed and his eyes immediately widened "You idiot! You didn't bring a jacket with you?! Come in!!" He pulled me in, nearly making me trip. I chuckled and sniffed one more time.
"There's blankets on the couch" He said, and I raised an eyebrow "Did you sleep in the living room?" "Well... Yeah" "Why?" I pressed on "Because... There was a huge bug in my bedroom and I couldn't get it out..." He looked away, blushing from emberassment as I laughed at him.
I dived on the couch and buried myself in the blankets, sighing contently from the warmth. He sat beside me and gave me a tumbler "Hot chocolate" Yet again, I asked "Why'd you have hot chocolate?"
He rolled his eyes "I was about to go to bed and I made that to help me sleep" I nodded "arasseo arasseo" I muttered and sipped on the drinkm
He tapped my shoulder, catching my attention "It's not like I'm not pleased to see you. I am. But... Why are you here, alone and at this time?" I sighed...
Maybe I should tell Bambam...
He would help me relieve all this stress...
