Chase's P.O.V
//drama llama//

"I can't, I have debate."

"I got robotics fam."

"I definitely would, but I have cheerleading."

The one day I actually want to do something everyone is busy with a club. Why is everyone in a club? I start walking to fourth period, and I see Sabrina's Blonde hair tied up in a ponytail. I'll ask her to do something with me at school.

I finally catch up to her. Wanting to get her attention, I bump into her

"Watch it- oh..hey Chase." She smiles up at me. She's so small.

"What class are you going to, I'll walk you."

"Calculus." She replied with annoyance in her tone. She hates math, but she's good at it. She'll probably be even angrier when she actually gets to class and sees that Ms.W is in one of her bitchy moods. That is if she is still in the same mood as when I had her in first period.

"Well, calculus is the other way unless your intentions were to skip class, which I'd do with you, but I actually like my next class."

"Shut up." She says in embarrassment turning around.I laugh to myself grabbing her hand and leading the way.

"It was cute."

"Whatever." She says her cheeks turning a rosy red.

"So do you want to do something after school?" I ask as we get closer to our destination.

"I have cheerleading practice Chase. Were you not listening when I asked you to walk me home after practice was over?" Well, I was listening, but then again...I wasn't listening.

"Well why does everyone else have a club and not me...?" I ask feeling kind of left out.

"Well I don't know who everyone else is...but I didn't suggest you join a club because staying somewhere longer than you need to is not really your thing, and you probably wouldn't like the club choices anyway." I haven't made it clear to Bea, Jai, Joslyn, or Ashley that I have a girlfriend yet. We are only about three weeks into the school year and I wasn't necessarily talking to any of them for the first two and a half weeks of school, so the topic didn't really come up. There won't be a problem with me having a girlfriend, but It would be the right choice to tell them and not have them find out from someone else.

"No, now I'm joining a club just to prove to you that I can." I don't really know what club I'm going to join, Sabrina but now I'm determined to join one. Extra curricular activities bitch.

I stop in front of the classroom and Sabrina lets go of my hand.

"Good luck with that pumpkin." She pats my arm and turns around entering the classroom.

I turn around walking to my next class, literature. I hope I get there before the bell rings because apparently you're late if you aren't in your seat.

I get to my seat as soon as the bell rings and Mrs.johnson gives me a look before standing up to grab a marker for the white board. I take out my notebook and pencil.

English has always been my favorite subject, Ashley's too. I like it because there is always more, everything has a purpose, a meaning to it. It's not always a deep meaning, though deeper meanings are more fun. Most people probably just think of literature class as reading then taking a test and writing some essays, but it's way more, at least to me. There's just something about the places reading can take you. I swear you can get lost in a book. Reading can take you to a different world if you let it.

After the bell rings I go to the front desk and get a list of clubs before heading to my locker and going to lunch.
