Chapter 4

Hazel's POV

Andy is leaving to go on tour today and I will miss him. He is taking me to school and then Juliet will be picking me up after wards.

"Hazel you have to get in the car, your gonna be late."
"I want to spend as much time with you as I can."
"That's sweet, but you need to go."
"Fine." I said putting on my shoes.

I grabbed my guitar and got in the car and sat there.

"I want to stay with you till you leave." I said.
"I understand but when I drop you off I have to go home, say goodbye to Juliet and then I'm leaving. They are coming to our house to pick me up."
"Fine." I said.

He dropped me off and said Juliet would pick me up in the office.
I nodded.

When I got in the building people were looking at me weirdly. Apparently they never seen anyone carry a guitar in a case before. That's what their faces look like.

I walked to my locker and put my guitar in it and walked to class.

In math we had to do fraction and divide and multiply them, I don't understand it.

After lunch I went to the music room for my next class and then played the guitar at recess till people came down.

"Your very talented." The music teacher said.
"Thanks." I told him.

I continued playing and when everyone started to come in I was playing The Legacy. They were looking at me strange till I got to the solo. Then they thought I was being weird.

After music I went to science. No one talked to me at all. Just stared.

When I was done with school I when to my locker then to the office by Juliet.

She asked how it went and I said fine. When we left I didn't talk on the way home.

"I need to do my homework." I said going into the house.
"Ok." She said.
I started to work on it then I fell asleep again. Apparently my assignment I did for math and science yesterday I failed it. I'm not good at it. School is tiring.

1 month later

"Hazel before I take you to school, there's going to be a change in your schedule."
"Ok."
"You will be going to a room for special help, for math and science when there are tests and someone will be in your class helping but they will take you out of the room when you take the test."
"Okay." I said.

Now people are going to make more fun of me. But I am failing math and science. I want help with it so I'm ok with it.

I almost went to the car but Juliet stopped me. I haven't eaten anything for while, every time I get home I have homework then I fall asleep.

"You need to eat, you don't look okay."
"I'm fine."
"No, you need to eat. You always do home work then fall asleep, you don't eat, and you aren't eating in the morning."
"I'm gonna be late."
"Eatings more important. Stay home and we will tell them you aren't feeling good." She said.
"I feel fine." I lied. I don't feel too well and it is because of not eating.
"Stay. You are eating."
"Fine." I said and sat down.

I went on my phone then Juliet told me to come and eat. I went and started to eat. It felt good to but yet I still felt a bit weird.

I heard Juliet's phone ring and she was in her room and her phone was in the kitchen. It was Andy. I answered.

"Hello." He said.
"Hello." I told him.
"Hazel, aren't you supposed to be at school." He asked.
"Yeah, but sense I have always been going in my room and doing homework after school I have been falling asleep and then I don't eat. An I am not feeling to well from it."
"Well, get better. I got the news about your change in you schedule, are you okay with it."
"Yeah."
"I get math and science are hard but English and music are great. What are you doing in English." He asked.
"We are reading  and writing stories. I love to do that."
"That's good, would I be able to see a story when I come back."
"Of course." I said.
"Could I speak to Juliet." He asked.
"Yeah, just a minute."

I went and started to take the phone to her then I seen her standing by her room. She was smiling.

"It's Andy." I told her.

She nodded and took the phone.

I went on my phone and Jake texted me.

J- hey
H- hi
J- I heard Andy talking to you, are you okay
H- yeah, every time I come home from school I have home work then I fall asleep and then I don't eat, and it has been like this for a month, I hardly have time to eat breakfast, I have been taking longer and longer to get ready
J- we'll be home in two months then we can talk and see how everything is
H- ok, I'm going to go take a nap, bye
J- bye, get better
H- thanks

I went to Juliet's room and she was laying on the bed reading.
"Hey." She said.
"Hi." I told her.
"What's up."
"Can I take a nap in here."
"Yeah." She said.

I went to Andy's side of the bed and started to sleep.

"I miss him." I said.
"So do I." She said. "They will be back in two months. We both hope they go fast."
"Yeah." I said.
She got her phone out and showed me her screen.

"Remember that." She said.
"Yeah, that was a good night. The second night here."
"You are a very awesome kid, I know your 17, but you are still like a awesome kid to be around, even though you can be quiet and it's concerning. But I still love you."
I smiled. "I love you too." I told her. And fell asleep.
