Gaster is living on the surface with his wife, Lucy. The war between humans and monsters has not occurred yet.
Gaster's POV.
I arrived home from work and sat on the green couch with my newspaper in my hands. I was reading it feeling disgusted. It was taking about how monsters were 'dangerous' and 'scary'. Recently there had been lots of reports of dead monsters and people picking on us. It was really annoying and the streets were barely safe anymore. I laughed drily as another crime scene appeared on the news. Lucy walked in and kissed me, wrapping her arms around my shoulders. I kissed back and handed her some pink flowers. She smiled and spun around gracefully. "Oh there wonderful, thank you. Flower my going to repay you." She giggled. I laughed back. I loved her amazing sense of humour, she could always make me smile no matter what. Everyone that met her became friends with her and she was simply a joy to be around. "Honey" she began slowly and seriously. "What's wrong?" "Well I was thinking. We've been married for 3 years now and it gets kinda boring and lonely when your at work so... Could we have a child?" I smiled brightly back. "Of course we can. I think that's a splendid idea." She leapt forward and embraced me tightly. "I love you."~ time skip ~
I arrived home from work and sat on the green couch with a newspaper in my hands. It was talking about how there was a group of humans who were experimenting on monsters and taking there magic to transfer it into humans. Although the monsters died after this. There was also a new organisation that id heard about. this Organisation ejected monsters with determination slowly to see how much a monster soul could take before they died. I felt so sick. Humans were such twisted beings. My thought's were interrupted when a little skeleton ran down the stairs excitedly and jumped into my lap. "Daddy daddy! Look what I can do." Then he lifted his hand up and a small blue bone appeared levitating in the air before fizzling out of existence. He looked at me excitedly. "Wow well done, your really quite good with magic already and you only one year old." "Heh thanks, I've been practisin' every day." "My my, your speech is coming along very well. Your words are pronounced almost perfectly." He grinned and ran back up the stairs to Lucy to be tucked into bed. I can't tell him about the murders and horrible things going on in the world. Just yesterday I was assaulted and barely escaped. Sans has never been outside because of his condition. Sans's birth had been complicated and hard. Because of this he had only one HP and even a single hit from a human could kill him so it wasn't safe for him outside. I got up and went to bed feeling sick. I don't know what I'd do if he died. The next morning sans came into my bedroom and began jumping on the bed. "Mom, dad guess what! Guess what! Do you know what day it is today! It's my birthday. I'm two now! I've been meaning to ask... Can I go outside now?" Lucy patted his back and replied "sweetie, you know why you can't go outside yet... But since it's your birthday I suppose you can go outside as long as you stay right by us the whole time. Sans face lit up like stars as he jumped with excitement and yanked the covers of the bed while pulling us out. " cmon cmon, what are we waiting for let's go already." he ran off into his bedroom and got changed so quickly that I barely had enough time to get changed myself.
He pulled us out of the house holding are hands firmly and staring at everything around us with awe. It was really cute to see him ask us about everything in sight. We took him to a park and watched him closely as he ran around and climbed up trees. Lucy looked at me and leaned on my shoulder smiling. "This is the best day ever! He's so happy." Then she kissed me and we sat on the grass. Suddenly there was a loud scream for nearby I jumped onto my feet and looked towards the sound. In the distance were some humans in black clothes. Two of them were carrying an unconscious body that I recognised was sans. A sharp tingle of fear and anger swept though me as I summoned as many bones as I could and aimed carefully. The humans fired guns back and jumped into a tuck. They sped of before I could do anything. I screamed and cried. Lucy was sobbing next to me I hugged her and promised I would get him back no matter what. I slammed my fists into the grass. they would pay.
Sans POV.
I woke up strapped to a table. It was impossible to move and I was panicking. I started hyperventilating and calling out for my parents. A man walked in and grinned. He looked dangerous and evil. He had black hair and was wearing a black T- shirt with a badge that read 'commander'. "Don't worry" he said spitefully. "I won't kill you." Another man walked into the room and began taking to the other. I just listened to what they were saying. The man with black hair began. "Good work, it's always harder to find children. Parents can be so protective. Now this one is very important for our new project. I want to see the difference between human and monster souls and most importantly. Can a young monster soul be altered?" Then they walked over to the machine behind me and grabbed some syringes with a red liquid labeled determination. One of them injected the substance into one of my ribs. It burned all over and hurt so much. My soul felt like it was on fire. I screamed in agony for what felt like forever. Tears streamed down my face and clogged up my eye sockets. I felt angry and broken. My eyes burned a bright and painful blue. Every object in the room began to spin and smash into the walls. A sharp tool span round and hit the second man in the chest. Blood splattered across the wall, the first man grabbed a knife and lunged at my left eye. I felt it shatter and the blue in it diminish. I screamed again and everything that was levitating dropped to the floor. I lay still with my eyes closed thinking of home and wishing I was there so desperately. I felt the world spin and blue smoke filled my vision. Then the restraints were gone and I was standing in my living room facing my stunned parents. I ran into there outstretched arms and hugged them tightly. Tears were flowing down there faces as they clung onto me. "My baby" my mum cried. "Where were you, how did you escape. I'm so glad your ok." I began trying to reply but I suddenly felt tired and dizzy. I stumbled onto my knees and blacked out, tumbling to the floor.
