I woke up in a lab, my arm covered in bandages. Papyrus was asleep in a chair next to me and there was an IV in my other arm. I pulled it out and stood up tiredly. Alphys came in and scolded me. "Y-you shouldn't b-be standing u-up yet." She pushed me back down gently and put the I.v in. "W-wait till it e-emptys and t-then you c-can get u-up." I reluctantly nodded and shook paps awake. "WHAT?" he looked around in a daze till he saw me. "SANS. I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU. NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!"" I rubbed the back of me head guiltily and nodded. "GOOD, NOW WHEN YOU CAN LEAVE WAKE ME UP." he said while yawning for dramatic effect. I giggled and looked outside to see what time of day it was only to realise that we were underground and there was no light. Papyrus settled back down and was soon asleep with a smile on his face. I slipped under the quilt and closed my eyes peacefully.

When I woke up I was back in bed and felt fine all of my recent injuries gone. I looked at the date on my calendar and internally groaned when I realised there had been another reset. I lazily shuffled out of bed and teleported to Grillby's with my slippers on wanting to get away from my worries for a bit. When I arrived everyone was drinking happily and laughing. I looked up and plastered a fake smile on my tired face. Most people greeted me enthusiastically as I sat down at my usual spot. I began to sip slowly on my bottle of ketchup as flashbacks of the last few time lines consumed my thoughts. The terrified looks of betrayal as I slaughtered my friends. There screams of agony and distress echoed though mind and I began to shake slightly. For the first time in my life my smile looked strained. Usually I could fake it no problem but I was struggling to keep back the tears. Grillby  noticed the grimace on my face and put a hand on my shoulder. "Are you all right sans?" I nodded but it was clear I was lieing. "You know you can tell me of any things bothering you right?" I shifted uncomfortably. "Yeah." I answered simply. "Well I've gotta go, I have sentry duty and pap will kill me if I'm late." I walked out of the bar before he could respond and teleported to the door in Snowdon. *knock knock* I rattled my first against the door rapidly. "Knock knock" I said out loud.

....

But no one came.

I stood up in defeat and teleported to a secluded room in waterfall. It was small and had a bench in it. I sat down and began to stair at the glowing crystals on the celling that we call stars. A soft melody played through the air and I relaxed feeling peaceful.

Eventually I noticed the late time and began to head back to Snowdon deciding to walk to take in the scenery. Along the way I noticed a gray door on one of the crystallised walls that I'd never seen before. I began to feel curious as I approached it and rested my hand on the door nob. Before I could open it my phone began to play a familiar theme tune that I recognised as Papyrus's. "Hey bro." I said into the phone. "SANS WHERE ARE YOU? I WAS WORRIED ABOUT YOU." "no I'm fine, sorry I rattled you I'll be home in a bit ok." "OK BROTHER SEE YOU SOON." I shoved the phone back in my pocket and began walking again, forgetting about the mysterious door.

~several days later ~
I sat at my sentry station completely bored so I stood up and walked to the door I was about to knock but I heared two voices from the other side. Before I could decipher what they were saying the door swung open. I hid behind the trees and watched as a human with brown hair began to walk down the snowy path. I saw a large stick that they had just passed and decided to scare them. I shot two strong bullets at the branch and it completely snapped in half. The noise alerted the human and they spun round in fear. They started shaking and stopped when they reached a bridge with wide bars. I walked behind them and put my whoppie cushion in my hand. "Human don't you know how to great a new pal? Turn around and shake my hand." They turned stiffly and shook my extended arm. A loud faring sound spread through the entire area and the human began to giggle uncontrollably. "Heh, the old whoppie cushion in the hand trick, it's always funny. I'm sans, sans the skeleton. Anyway your a human right I'm actually supposed to be on the lookout for humans right now but I don't care about capturing anybody..."

~ after pacifist route. ~ (I'm to lazy to write the whole thing.)

I wandered around the bottom of mount Ebot looking at the scenery. I sat down on the grass and shut by eyes peacefully, for once I felt genuinely happy. I let my eyes close with satisfaction things would become much better for me from now...
Or so I thought.

I woke up in a familiar bed, out of my window there was snow. I felt my heart shatter. There had been a reset but this time it was by the kid, frisk. Tears threatened to fall but I simply got up and distracted myself from the harsh reality, however everything I did felt more pointless than ever and my depression got worse. I went to the ruins door and waited for the human. They arrived much quicker this time and they were covered in dust. I approached them the same as last time but they didn't laugh, they just wore a sickening smile as they gripped there knife. This was genocide.

~ Countless resets later ~

Another pacifist ending, everyone did the same thing. Everyone wore the same joyful smiles. Except me. This time would be different. Instead of leaving to chase papyrus I approached the kid. "Heya buddy, mind of we chat?" Frisk nodded and tori left us. As soon as she was out of sight I broke down. Wet tears dripped to the floor uncontrollably and frisk frowned. "Sans what's wrong?" They asked worriedly. I laughed a sad dry laugh. "What's wrong?" I almost screamed at them. "Why frisk? Why do you keep resetting? I can't take this anymore, its all pointless." Frisk embraced me with a hug. "I'm so sorry sans, I let my curiosity control me. I didn't want my time in the underground to end but I abused my power. I'm sorry sans, from now on there will be no more resets, I promise." I looked up in shock. "Thank you." I began to cry tears of absolute joy and relief. "Thank you, you don't know how much this means to me."

The end.
