Gaster's POV.
Sans collapsed in a heap on the floor and Lucy cought him then picked him up carefully. She put him into his bed and sat next to him, singing his favourite song. Five hours later sans mumbled something and sat up weakly. He seemed very tired and extremely frightened, as he was shaking violently and hiding in the covers. I was the first to brake the uncomfortable silence. "What happened, you can tell us when your ready and I understand that this is a very touchy subject so take your time." He smiled a sad smile and began to explain what had happened, although his voice was a whisper and he was constantly stuttering. One he'd finished he was holding his left eye and whimpering. Lucy leaned close to him and hugged him again. "My poor baby, humans are so awful." I sat down next to them and asked him how he'd escaped. He replyed slowly. "I-im not s-sure, i-i was i-in there and t-then suddenly I w-was h-here." Honestly I was really curious about his new ability's and incredible power. He was only two years old and already he was more powerful than an adult. If I trained him properly he might even be able to kill a human. "Can you control your magic sans?" He shrugged his shoulders and his right eye turned a bright blue. Then he began shaking harder and the walls began to crawl with bones. He began panicking and covering his eye with a pained expression but the magic didn't stop, instead the objects in the room began to levitate and spin on there axis. My mouth dropped open in surprise. This was incredible. Then I looked back to the bed were sans was panicking. A blue light engulfed him and he teleported to the other side of the room. As he did the objects in the room dropped to the floor and his eye stopped glowing.

3 years later
I've been teaching sans how to use his powers and he now has complete control over it and can teleport. He refused to go outside after the incident though and spends most of his time reading science books or practising magic. We were getting worried about him since it's unhealthy to be inside all the time but he's very scared of the outside, especially humans. In fact he has nightmares almost every night. I walked up the stairs to his room. He was reading a chemistry book and humming. "Oh hey dad, do you need somethin'." He said as soon as he realised I'd come in. "Yes actually I wanted to talk to you." "Sure, come sit down." I walked in and sat on the bed, this conversion was going to be hard. "Sans, me and your mother want you to come outside. We're worried about you and you need to get over your fear. Please come." Sans looked down and began twiddling his fingers together nervously. "I-i don't want t-to though." He was sweating and looking around the room everywhere but at me. "I know your nervous but they won't hurt you this time. Your much stronger and I know you can protect yourself." He nodded and sighed in defeat. I got up and headed to the door adding a quick "Thank you." Before leaving and going to sleep.

I woke up and went into the living room. Sans was there dressed and eating ketchup. "You should really stop eating that you know. It's not good for you." He just shrugged and continued eating. The silence was annoying so I started a conversion. "How come your up so early?" "I couldn't sleep so I came downstairs, I've been down here for a while actually." His answer was quick and annoyingly brief. "Well of your ready then we can get going. Come on." He stood up and followed me out the door. "So where are we going exactly?" "Didn't I tell you? Oh well. We're going to the lab that I work in. I wanted to show you because I not you love science and thought you night enjoy it." well honestly I just wanted to see how clever he was, maybe he could even work with me someday. Sans was looking around nervously and jumping at every noise. I put a hand on his shoulder and continued walking till we reached a big white building that had monster's lab written on it in capitals. I was actually the manager of this place so bringing sans along wouldn't be a problem. As we entered the building sans let go of my hand and began to look around, studying everything intently. He was clearly exited. I began giving him a tour of the lab and introducing him to the staff. I showed him our current work on the soul and it's property's. He was amazed at the differences between a human soul and a monster soul. During the tour he told me what he already knew and I was very impressed. He came back the following day and helped us with our research. He was admittedly more intelligent then most of the workers here and also proved to be vital to our work.
