Gaster POV.
The next month went really well. I was having lots of fun doing research and explaining my new theories to sans. Sans came into work by teleporting and every hour he would go back home to feed or play with papyrus before returning again. Papyrus began to talk at a very late age and when he did talk it was loud. I found that he wasn't as intelligent as sans, in fact he was surprisingly slow with his mind. Sans loved papyrus and would read him stories every night just like his mother used to when she was alive. Sans hadn't got over the fact that she was dead but never told papyrus. I actually heard sans talk when he was alone as of she was there. He was also having nightmares almost every night however he would never tell me what they were about. Sans was young and it was irresponsible to let him wonder the lab alone so whenever I was busy asgore and toriel would babysit them for me. They had a young son that was around Papyrus's age who was very curious about everything. He was a sweet boy that got very lonely in the castle and would sometimes come down to the lab to play with sans or papyrus.
(Just so you know Sans is seven and papyrus is two)

News had reached out that Asriel had found a human in the ruins and had helped them. Apparently the king and queen had decided to adopt them and treat them as there own child. Sans disliked the human and never talked to them much. Though I suppose it's only natural since he never met any nice humans and can still remember the murderous ones he did meet. Sans made sure that papyrus is never with the human and that means that they no longer see Asriel since he's always with the human. I'm personally disgusted that we are not just killing the human since they're a huge threat and we need there soul to brake the barrier with. Also a soul would be very beneficial to science as we could study it.

A few weeks later I was informed that chara and Asriel were killed and are now dead. Chara's soul has disappeared and some of Chara's determination fell onto the flowers and Asriel's dust making a very big mess. I was very disappointed that Chara's soul was missing. The king declared war on humans and the queen disappeared being disgusted by the violence. I know that she went to the ruins because the door is now locked and no one is aloud to enter.

Sans POV.
I walked down the path to the door in Snowdon this was my favourite place to visit because o enjoy practising knock knock jokes even though no one ever replies. Mum would love doing puns with me. A blue tear splashed onto my hand and I realised I was crying. I looked up as I heared a gasp and a female human was in front of me. She was staring at me with sparking blue eyes and long wavy brown hair. I felt mesmerised she was beautiful and looked about my age. "H-hi, I'm sapphire." she stammered quietly. Her voice was soft and smooth, usually I hate humans but this one was different. She looked scared and I realised that she was shaking. "Hi I'm sans, sans the Skelton it's a pleasure to meet you." She was still shaking and I pulled my jacket off and wrapped it around her shoulders. "Thank you." She looked into my eyes gratefully. I grabbed her hand gently and led her to my house. I peaked in through the window to see and the lights off so that ment that no one was home. We walked in and went straight to my bedroom. "You can stay here of you like but... Stay in the room when I'm not here. My dads a scientist and he'll take you to asgore who will kill you so stay out of sight ok. She began crying and hugged me. I felt my cheeks grow hot and a tint of blue covered them. " i-im scared. " she whispered. "Don't be. I'll protect you, I promise." She leaned back and gave me a smile that melted my heart. Then I heared the door slam and quickly pulled sapphire into my closet "stay here and be quiet, I'll be back as soon as possible." She nodded and I went downstairs. Dad was on the couch reading a book and tapping the table with his finger. He always did that when he was stressed. "Hi dad, how was work?" "Infuriating. There's lots of ideas that I want to try but I need a human soul to do it." "Oh, well that's a shame." I began sweating and shaking slightly I really hope he doesn't find the human he noticed my sudden uneasiness and became curious. "I know that face sans. Your hiding something aren't you." " N-no I'm just tired t-thats all." He eyed me suspiciously and a small sneeze was heard from upstairs. Gaster jumped up and headed to my room but before he could reach it I panicked and teleported in front of him, summoning two gaster blasters. "Stop" I shout harshly. He looks at me sternly and studied my expression. "Its a human isn't it." He looks angry. I don't move. I hear a ping and my soul turns blue. My feet lift of the floor and I'm pulled to the side. "DAD STOP PLEASE SHE'S SCARED SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG." he turns to face me. "You hate humans your scared of them why would she be any different that the one that killed your mum." I looked at him shocked that he would say that as tears began to clog up in my eye sockets. "This humans different she's kind please don't hurt her, I'll do anything please." I began begging and shaking violently as I was suspended in the air. He looks at me thoughtfully then replies. "Ok I won't harm her but on one condition." "I'll do anything." I began to feel relieved. "You must kill every other human that falls down here and do anything I ask." I looked at him shocked but gulped and nodded. The blue around me disappeared and I dropped to the floor as gaster walked out of the house. Sapphire burst out of my room and hugged be "thank you, thank you so much." I smiled and held her hand, then we kissed.
