undertale- the beginning

part 6

(Sans is 20 papyrus is 15.)

It's almost done, I can almost bring gaster back. I looked at my  machine proudly. This part didn't take that long anyway. I realised that i needed more bolts so i stopped working and walked to the shop and bought more bolts and a few grocery items. On the way back I noticed that everyone was in there homes, with the lights off and the town seemed to quiet. I looked into the window of grilbys and everything was pitch black. weird, where is everyone? Something moved from the inside of the Diner and I opened the door. "Hello, is anyone in here?" I called out. A shaking voice answered back "sans oh thank goodness your ok. If anything had happened to you I would have been devastated." Grillby was the one that had spoken. " what's going on, where is everyone? why are you hiding?" I was utterly confused. " didn't anyone tell you, a human walked through here with the gun. they killed so many people so most of us went into hiding." My eye flashed blue. "Well then I guess I'd better go do my job." Grillby looked confused. "Sans don't put yourself in danger, it's not your job to kill the human." " actually it is. I'm the royal judge." He stared at me in awe,  lost for words but there wasn't anything to say. "see you later Grillby. " and I teleported to the judgement hall where I began to wait for the inevitable.

Half an hour passed and the human finally arrived. This one was a boy wearing a cowboy outfit. He had a gun in his hand which he pointed at me accusingly. I began our battle and his orange (justice) soul flouted in front of his chest. I began my usual text speech about L.V and EXP when he interrupted me. "I killed those monsters to serve them justice. Your kind has killed innocent humans for your own selfish gain, you all deserve to be punished." I shoved both of my hands Into my pockets. "Kid, you have no right to judge others like that. The monsters that you've killed were innocent, they never killed the humans..." my eyes became dark. "That was me." He lifted his gun higher and pointed it at my head. "Then you need to pay retribution for your sins. You can't kill and expect no consciences." I chucked quietly. "Right back at you buddy." The boy fired the gun and I teleported. When I appeared behind him me spun around in shock. "What, did you think I was just gonna stand there and take it?" I pulled up bones from the floor and they stabbed him in the legs. I summoned a gaster blaster and fired. He skided to the side and shot a bullet at it which shattered it into peaces. He grinned smugly and I simply summoned 2 more in response. His face fell as he struggled to dodge the powerful blast's. "How are you so powerful?" He screamed at me as his H.P went down to one. "I have to be strong to pass judgement. Clearly your not strong enough." I spat as I brought up bones and impaled him, draining his last H.P. I carried his body and soul to the throne room where I handed them of to asgore who nodded solemnly in response.

I began working on the machine again until I realised that something was wrong. I had done this part before, it was like a very big case of dàja vû and it felt like I wasn't making any progress. I started to get stressed out so I went to find papyrus. He had become a sentry recently and I would check on him all the time to make sure he was ok. I froze when I saw him. He was tangled in vines that were lifting him off the floor and chocking him. The vines belonged to a yellow flower that smiled demonically when he saw me. "Why if it isn't smiley trashbag. You came quicker this time." I looked at him questioningly. He continued " im flowey the flower. oh that's right, you don't remember do you. Ha ha no one does. Oh well, its a shame you won't remember THIS." He pulled of the vines and Papyrus faded into dust. His scarf fell to the ground and I was modified. "Come on comedian, aren't you going to make a pun... No? Oh well." Vines slithered towards me and lifted me up. I made no effort to move or escape the vines, I simply hung there limp. My bones snapped as he tightened but I didn't feel it. I just felt numb all over. Was there really a point in living if papyrus was dead. Flowey smashed me into the ground. "Come on, do something you lazy peace of garbage." I didn't even hear flowey as I lay sprawled out on the snow with Brocken ribs. "Come on I'm bored. I wanna see you fight. You never fight me and I've never seen you use magic. I want something new." A minuet of silence passed and flowey grew impatient. "Ughh whatever, I'll try again in the next reset." A vine shot down and impaled me, killing me instantly.

I shot up in my bed, out of breath. That dream had felt so real. I quickly waked into Papyrus's room and relaxed when I saw that he was Ok and alive. When papyrus went out I went with him. He began to get annoyed that I was being so clingy but I stayed with him anyway. That nightmare had really rattled my bones. About half way through the day flowey appeared in the ground in front of us. "Howdy I'm" I cut him of "yeah your flowey, flowey the flower." Flowey smiled. "Oh so you remember me huh. Well this is new." He attempted to grab papyrus but I cut all the vines with bones. Flowey looked delighted that I was finally fighting and began to direct his attention to me. "I'll have to be careful not to kill you to quickly, after all one powerful hit would kill you." He shot a bullet at me and I dogged. "What. Did you expect me to just stand there and take it?" Fowey's grin wasn't as big now but he was clearly delighted. He pulled up 4 vines and began to thrust them at me. I jumped over the first and ducked under the second. I swerved to the side as the third came towards my skull but I couldn't dodge the fourth in time so I summoned a gaster blaster and disintegrated it. "Oh WOW, you have some neat tricks sans. Even papyrus could never summon that." I smiled at him. "Oh so you like it huh. Well then it looks like I'll be having a blast." 7 blasters appeared above Fowey's head and scorched his petals. His grin faded as he realised that he might not win. And so the battle went on with the same pattern of vines and bones. Flowey took lots of damage and I haven't been hit once however I need to kill him soon before I get to tired. A vine caught my leg as I was jumping over it and I heared a crack. I screamed in pain as I tumbled to the floor. "Golly, you really are frail ain't you. But I suppose this is the part where you die since you can't dodge anymore." I tried to stand up but my Broken leg snapped and I crumpled back down. Flowey laughed insanely at my pain and bullets surrounded me. "Now DIE!!" The bullets shot towards me and I teleported out of there range. "WHAT!" Flowey looked furious. "How did you..." I summoned as many gaster blasters as I could and the sky became covered with them. (There was around 50.) "Here's my special attack." The blast rained down and the entire area was engulfed in a bright blue light as flowey was killed. I teleported over to the chared flower and detached his head from his stem. His body slumped to the ground. Lifeless. "Get dunked on." I heaved as I fell unconscious from using all my magic.
