I shot up in my bed. That was definitely real. I guess flowey reset then. How did flowey reset anyway, I thought that you needed determination to reset but monsters can't have determination or else they melt due to lack of physical matter. Unless... Flowey doesn't have a monster soul. He didn't look like a monster but he wasn't human either so what is he? I decided that eventually I was going to met him again and I could find out more about him. Although papyrus is in a lot danger and I won't watch him die again. It's hard to keep an eye on him when he's always on Snowdon. Unless I became a sentry as well. That way we would be close and I'm not really doing anything else in my spare time besides from sleeping. I went to asgore and asked if I could. He accepted but seemed at little confused since I didn't need money. I explained that I wanted the job to be able protect others and he seemed to be fine with that answer however he told me to go check with the captain of the royal guard. "Oh. I didn't know there was a captain. Who is it?" "Oh she's undyne. She challenged me to a fight and refused to give up, she was very strong so I tained her and now she's the captain of the royal guard." I chuckled, that did sound a lot like undyne. It's been years since I saw her. I wonder if she's changed at all.

Her house looked like an angry fish and I had to cover my mouth so I didn't laugh. I knocked on the door rapidly and undyne opened the door so harshly that the door came of it's hinges. "Hey undyne. Long time no see." She hugged me back so tightly I thought she was going to crush me. "Hey punch punk it's been ages since I saw you. How's papyrus?" "Yeah he's good, but asgore told me to come here cause I want to be a sentry and you have to test me." She Suplex's a bolder then punched it in half. I was actually pretty intimidated by her. "Come out to my backyard and we'll begin
But you better get ready, I won't go easy on you!!" I lazily followed her behind the house where there was a large patch of burnt grass. "Fuhfufufu get ready cause here I come!" She swiped her spear at me and I teleported before it could hit me. "Ughh stand still." I fired a couple of bones at her and she blocked with her spear. She began shooting hundreds of arrows at me and I swerved in and out of them skilfully. She swung her spear again but got the same result. "How can you fight if you don't face danger head on." She looked infuriated now but I continued using just bones. A few of them hit her as my attacks grew more complex but they didn't do much damage. She swung her spear at me and this time it didn't miss. I froze as my body became stiff. I tilted my head down to see a green soul in front of me. Suddenly I felt vonrable and exposed. My breathing began to become laboured and I began shaking. This was not a feeling I liked. It reminded me of when flowey picked me up with his vines. Or when gaster picked me up in the core. I felt myself summon gaster blasters but didn't hear them. I couldn't see properly and everything felt distant and far of. I was suddenly dropped and everything became normal again. I was on the ground breathing hard when undyne came over next to me. "Omg are you ok." I looked up to undyne who's hair was slightly burnt and there were numerous holes in her clothes. "What happened?" Undyne looked up and I realised that I had summoned blasters in panic and fired them at her. "Oh no, undyne I'm so sorry. Really I didn't mean to." She patted me on the back. "Dude seriously I'm fine." I nodded and stood up shakily. "I'm sorry for using green magic on you. I should have known that you'd be uncomfortable with it." I stayed silent and thought about what I could have done. What if I had killed undyne. We sat down on the seats in Undyne's house and she told me that I could be a sentry although I already knew she would yes since I have killed lots of humans and I'm the royal judge. I don't really like telling others that so most people don't know because if they new they'd probably want to fight with me to see how strong I am and I'm lazy so I really don't want to fight people if I don't have to.

I kicked a bit of pilled up snow from beneath my sentry station. I'm lucky I'm a skeleton or else I would have been freezing. I started humming to pass the time. Being a sentry didn't require much work, it was quite boring actually and I ended up falling asleep on several occasions. I got up and began to walk further into the woods so that my legs didn't get stiff in the joints. I kept walking for a while until I saw a large purple door in the distance. It was locked from the inside but I saw down with my back leaning against it anyway. I lifted my hand above my head and knocked on the door 3 times rhythmically while saying "knock, knock." A familiar voice answers. "Who's there?" I lean forwards in shock. This person seamed familiar. I continued with my joke. "Broken pencil." "Broken pencil who?" "Never mind it's pointless." The lady on the other side began howling with laughter and I felt my worries become less. I relaxed as we began to share puns and talk to each other. It felt really comforting and everything became easier I began to forget about the resets and laughed my first genuine laugh in months. I stayed for hours before I had to leave. When i walked home the world felt brighter and I hung on to the hope that things would get better. I was DETERMINED to bring my dad back. I was DETERMINED to protect papyrus and I was DETERMINED to stop the resets. "Heya trashbag." I stopped abruptly and snarled at the flower. "Wow look at the talking flower." I played a long with his stupid game. "Are you ready to have a bad time?" Flowey pulled up his attacks in response. "It's a beautiful day outside. Let's just get to the point." We began to furiously attack each other with all of our strength. I was winning till flowey wrapped a vine around by arm and pulled me into the air. I kicked my legs futilely. I set the vine on fire with my blue magic and flowey slammed me into the ruins door. My head cracked from the impact and the door smashed in. I stood up in a daze as the woman from behind the door came down the stairs of the ruins to investigate the loud noise. When she saw what was happening she gasped and summoned fire balls in her hands. Flowey fled back underground and she quickly came over to me. She put a hand on my shoulder. "Are you alright." I opened my mouth to answer but suddenly I felt dizzy and breathless. I simply looked at get before falling to the ground. She cought me in one swift motion carefully and checked my H.P 0.2. She mumbled something that I didn't hear and began to take me back into the ruins. She waked through a purple house and gently set me down on a kid sized bed. She checked me H.P again and it had reduced. I was dying. 0.1 my vision became black as the world slipped from me. 0.001 I couldn't die! Not yet. 0.0000  my soul began to crack. BUT IT REFUSED. A warm green magic flowed through me and I woke up. A monster was sitting next to me using healing magic. She looked kind and very relieved that I had woken up. She stopped and looked down at me. The crack in my head has healed but my humerus was split. My leg hurt immensely but I couldn't sit up so I couldn't tell what was broken. I tried to move it and ended up yelling from the pain. "Please do not move yet. You are still hurt as I could not heal all of your injuries with my magic." I nodded and shuffled into a comfortable position. "Thanks" she smiled warmly at me. "That's fine, your welcome. My name is toriel, I'm the care taker of the ruins." "The names sans and it's a pleasure to finally meet you." She laughed "now all the skeleton puns make sense." She left to make a pie and I sat up as slowly as I could so it didn't hurt. I pulled the covers off my legs and stared in horror.
