Chapter 23

Mina's POV

I need to find her. I have to find her! I'm planning to stay here.

Hello! a short haired girl came close to me.

Yes I remember that day that I was crying because someone took my food.

D-Don't cry! I have food! You can really have it. She smiled at me.

She was so nice. We became bestfriends since then.

"Mina!" I saw Akihiko running towards me. I have to ignore him! I ran away and hid at the abandoned gym. I looked around and saw a short sword. "I think I'll stay here until the dark." I sighed.

"MINA!" I heard Akihiko. "Dammit" I heard him run away. I sighed and sat at the corner.

I waited for the night and got out for a bit. I got some food to eat. I know this is a bit risky but I need to do this! I have to save her

The ground started to shake. I held on to the short sword and prepared myself for battle. I kept my balance steady but I losed it when the ground started to shake intensely. I fell down and hit my head on something. My vision started to go blur and then all of a sudden... everything went black.

Akihiko's POV
Earlier
How the hell did I lost my sight! Fuck! I should've ran faster! Goddammit!

I ran to Mitsuru and told her that Mina is missing. We got dismissed early and meet up with the others. I began feeling uneasy. "Shit"

"Woah, Akihiko-senpai, calm down! I'm sure she'll be fine! She's strong right?" Junpei asked. I bit my lower lip. "Seriously?" He looked at everyone. We all know that Mina is still not that powerful. She might take down 60 to 80 shadows but she'll have a 50/50 life span.

"We need to save her" Mitsuru said.

"How?" Yukari asked.

"Have you heard the ghost story?" Junpei asked suddenly. I looked at him and so did the others

"This isn't a great time to tell some silly story, Junpei" Minato said.

"B-But this might help! I've been thinking for a while." Junpei started "And when I heard the whole story... I thought it was weird"

"Go on" Mitsuru said

"Well, my friend named Shuu heard something... no, someone crying inside the gym. He got curious and got inside the gym. But when he got inside, he saw no one. One of the guards were talking about the students who went missing. That students who stays up in the school until midnight... never goes back." He said "So I think that--"

"They might be in Tartarus. Surrounded by shadows" Mitsuru said "Ikutsuki-san told me that people somtimes wonder arround Tartarus. They get stuck in the maze." She continued "We'll have to wait for it to turn into Tartarus"

"So we'll have to break in the school and stay there until mignight? I think that's neat!" Junpei said. Minato nodded. Yukari rolled her eyes

"I'll start preparing my things. I have to save my girl" I said. I ran upstairs and grabbed everything I need.

I'll save you, Mina. All of us. We're coming

School [Gekkoukan High]

Carefully bargged in the school and came inside the gym. I sat down and started to worry.

"Okay, here is what we're going to do. )" Mitsuru started. "Junpei, Akihiko, Minato... stay here. Me and Yukari will go to the main hall and do whatever we can to support you guys" she said. We all agreed and they started going at the main hall. I sighed

"Senpai, she'll be alright" Minato said. "I'm sure she will"

"Yeah" I said.

We waited and waited and then finally, the ground started to shake. The atmosphere was heavy. The gravity... its like we were being pulled downto the ground. I suddenly felt my head giving up. My vision started to blur and I blacked out
