Over Again || Haylor

Chapter 24

After Selena arrived, we started preparing everything for our little celebration. We had fun while cooking and even if we made a mess at the kitchen, we managed to make everything and clean. We put the cake in the oven and left it there to be roasted and we went upstairs to my room to change. She brought her dress here so she could change. I from the other, had no idea what should I wear. I opened my closet and searched for something, when my eyes caught the perfect dress.

The dress was long and it had the color of a light blue. It was also a little open in my chest. It was beautiful and it suits with my eyes. Once I changed, I cleaned a little my room. Selena came out from the bathroom and I turned to look at her. She was wearing a short dress in a creamy color. I smiled at how beautiful she looked.

"You look gorgeous." I told her when she came out.

"Oh, why, thank you. Likewise." She replied and I thanked her. We then, walked downstairs and waited till Harry comes. It's 7:35pm so, he should be here any moment.

Once we went downstairs a feeling came over me. It was a bad feeling. And I felt a pain in my heart like someone was squeezing it. I stopped and placed my hand over my chest where my heart is supposed to be. Fortunately, it stopped as fast as it came. I let it go, thinking it was just a simple pain.

Almost half an hour passed and I was on the living room and talking with Selena when the bell rang and I went to open the door. I thought I was going to see Harry but it wasn't him. It was my cousin, Karlie. I smiled and hugged her. She hugged me back and giggled.

"How my cousin's doing?" Karlie asked and we pulled away.

"I'm great!" I said happily. Karlie's smile widen when she see saw how happy I looked.

"I can see that." She said and chuckled. "I haven't seen you so happy since..." She stopped before she finish.

"Since Harry passed away?" I finished for her and she looked away. "That's what you wanted to say, righ?" I asked her and she looked back at me nodding. I smiled and let her get in and then, closed the door. She noticed Selena and run to her.

"Selena!" She said and hugged her. "It's been a long time." They pulled away after a minute and we sat on the couch.

"It's nice to see you again, Karlie." Selena told her. Karlie then, turned to me.

"I'm so sorry for reminding you Taylor." She said. Me and Selena looked at each other and smiled. Karlie noticed it and went confused. I was about to tell her when I remembered the cake.

"Omg, I forgot the cake." I said and run to the kitchen. I took a towel to take it without get burned and opened the oven. I took it off and placed it on the counter. Fortunately, it was okay. Thank God, I remembered it the right moment. I went out of the kitchen and back to the living room were I saw Karlie and Selena talking. Karlie was trying to make Selena to tell her what's going on but failed. They heard me coming and turned to look at me.

"I'm sorry, what were we saying?" I asked like I didn't already knew.

"Okay, can someone explain to me what's going on? Why so mysterious all of a sudden?" She asked confused. I decided that I'll just tell her.

"Fine, just...don't freak out too much." I said. I took a deep breath and told her. "Harry's alive!" I said happy.

"WHAT?" She shouted and got up. I actually expected that reaction. It's the same with all of us. Well, you can't blame us, right?

"Now that we're talking about Harry..." Selena said and I looked at her. "Where the hell is he?" She asked. I opened my phone and looked at the time. It was 8:15pm, what's taking him so long?

Suddenly, the bell rang and I sigh in relief. "That must be him." I said and got up to open the door. I opened and I saw all the boys. Louis, Liam, Niall, Zayn...Only Harry was missing. I hugged them and let them in.

"Guys, where's Harry?" I asked. They looked around the house and then, at each other. They turned back to me and Louis spoke.

"We thought that he would come earlier."

"That's what I thought too but he's not here."

"I'm sure he'll be here any minute. He just lost track of time." Liam said. I hope he's right.

We went to seat on the couch and the boys hugged Selena. I introduced the boys to my cousin since they didn't know each other. She only met Harry once. My mom came downstairs and greeted the boys and Karlie. We then, sat and started talking and laughing. Or to be more specific, they did. All I could think about was Harry.

Then, this bad feeling and the pain in my heart came back. This time though, it was worse. I placed my hand over my heart again and bowed. I couldn't even breathe. I felt like someone was trying to rip my heart out.

"AHH...!" I shouted in pain and everyone looked at me.

"Taylor?" Karlie called.

"Are you alright?" Selena asked. I didn't respond. Something's wrong with Harry. I know it. Once the pain calmed I turned to the guys.

"Guys, something's wrong with Harry." I said getting more worried every second that passed.

"Don't be ridiculous, Taylor, he just..."

"I'M NOT BEING RIDICULOUS, I KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG. I CAN FEEL IT!" I shouted and my mom came to the living room.

"Look, I'm gonna call him and prove you that he's fine and will probably be on his way here." Louis said and took his phone from his pocket. He dialled the number and called. After a minute of waiting he turned it off and from the look in his eyes I knew I was right.

"See?" I said. He didn't answer. The minutes passed and I was getting worried. It was 8:35 when my phone rang. I grubbed it quickly and saw the ID. It was Harry!

"Oh, thank God, Harry, are you alright?" I said quickly. But the voice wasn't the one I expected to hear.

"He's fine. For now." It was Adam. Fear came over me and anger filled my body. I knew it.

"What the hell did you do to him? Where are you?" I asked angry and the fear clear in my voice. Not fear of him, but fear of what he might do to Harry.

"That, you can answer it on your own. I'll be waiting, love." He said and hang up. I turned to my friends and saw that my mom had come too. They were looking at me waiting for me to tell them what happened. But I said nothing.

No! I won't let him ruin my life again. I had enough of him. I'm gonna show him the new Taylor. I'm gonna show him that I'm not scared of him anymore. And I'm gonna bring Harry back home, safe and sound and we're gonna have our family and our happy ending. No matter what's the cost.

I took my car keys and went towards the door not caring for all the calls. I ignored them all and went outside.

"Taylor? Where are you going?" Selena asked. Without stopping or turning to look at her I replied, "Where everything began." I said. I got in my car and drove away. I'm gonna put an end in this.

Well, guys, this story comes to an end. Only a few chapters left.

I know that most of you are waiting for Destiny and I'm sorry for not updating there too but the chapter is not finished yet and I have 2 other stories to finish (Over Again and Echo) I'm also working on Always & Forever, which I'm going to rewrite because I didn't like it AND I'm working on a knew one which I'm not going to update until it's finished. I'm not going to say the title yet either. Just wait and you'll see.
