Over Again || Haylor

Chapter 23

It's already 4pm and I'm waiting for Selena to come. I'm so nervous and I become more with each minute that passes. I don't really know why, I just can't help it. Oh, well, I guess all I can do is wait and see what will happen.

I can't believe what's happening. I'm pregnant! I'm going to become a mother! How great is that? Every girl dreams of that moment since childhood. We all dream of our prince charming, our magical wedding and our big beautiful family and now all these are about to come true. I have the love of my life back safe and sound, and we're about to have a new member with us. God, please if this is a dream, I never want to wake up.

The bell cut my thoughts and I literally ran downstairs to open the door and greeted my best friend with the biggest smile in my face. I hugged her and let her in.

"Wow girl, calm down. Too excitement for one minute." Selena said while holding back her laughter.

"I can't. All I want right now is to scream that I'm-" Selena cut me off by placing her hand in my mouth. Oh yeah, my mom is here. Oops! (NO HI)

"You're welcome." She said and pulled her hand back down. I smiled at her and we then went to the kitchen to start cooking. When we got in my mom greeted Selena and hugged her.

"Selena darling, how are you?" My mom asked her.

"I'm fine, how about you?" Selena asked back.

"Oh, I'm good. Just a little bit curious of why all these all of a sudden." My mom said and looked at me. She never gives up.

"I told you, you'll find out when the time comes." I said and she nodded. We then started cooking all together.

Harry's POV

I stopped my car and pressed the horn as a sign that I'm outside. I waited a little and nothing, so I sent him a massage.

I came to get my friend Ed from his house. When we talked last night, I told him I wanted him to come with me and I would tell him everything. He accepted and we agreed that I would go get him and explain everything while we go and get what I wanted.

So here I am, waiting outside his house while he takes his precious time to come. Come on man! I don't have all time, I have to be at Taylor's house at 7:30pm and it's already 5pm.

Finally, Ed decided to come outside and he walked towards my car. He got in and spoke.

"Hey, man. Long time, no see." He said and I smiled. It's nice to see him again after..almost 3 months, I think. Wow, I should really apologize.

"I'm so sorry, I was busy. You have no idea how much things has changed." I told him and crunched. He looked at me confused.

"What are you talking about?" He asked.

"Let's go and I'll tell you everything." I said and ignited the car. I then started driving.

It was silent for a couple of minutes since neither of us knew where to begin from. Especially me that I didn't know where to start from and how to explain everything that happened. Will he even believe me? Well, probably not. Even I wouldn't believe myself.

I sighed and spoke. Here goes nothing.

"Okay, so...What do you want me to tell you first?" I asked, even if I think I already know.

"In the phone you said something about a girlfriend.." He said. I was certain. I took a deep breath and started explaining.

"Right..her name is Taylor and yes, she's my girlfriend. I met her almost..2 months ago. Well, actually, I met her for a second time all over again." I said and smiled at the memory. I had another dream yesterday, and I remembered the first time we met. It was as Taylor said. We met at the same café, with the same way. Seems like Taylor,  indeed helps me. The memories comes back slowly.

Ed looked at me confused and with a questioning look. Before he could ask what I meant, I continued. "The first time I met her was almost 5 years ago, about a year before the...not really an accident." I said without taking my eyes off the road, but I could feel his eyes on me.

"I don't really follow you." Ed said. I sigh.

"There wasn't any car accident, it was a lie." I admitted and his eyes widen in shock.

"What?"

"You heard me."

"But..then what-"

"What happened to me?" I cut him off knowing what he wanted to say. He nodded. I stopped the car and we got out.

"What are we doing at the jewelry shop?" He asked and I smiled.

"Isn't it obvious?" I asked. "I'm going to propose to Taylor."

"What?" He asked. "Don't you think it's too early?"

"Should I wait another 5 years?" I asked back with sarcasm.

"Harry, you might know her 5 years, but you don't remember her. It's like you just met." He said. Well, he's kinda right but not entirely.

"Actually, I do remember her.." I said and looked at the jewelry shop. "I just don't remember her the way used to." But I will, I know I will. Months ago I thought I'll never get my memory back, but now things changed. Taylor came to my life again and she brings everything back. I'm starting to remember again.

"To be honest with you, Ed, I would have wait a couple of months, at least, but..." I stopped.

"But what?" He asked.

"Taylor's pregnant." I said. "So I thought that it would be better if we get married before the baby comes." I continued. Ed stood there looking at me without saying a word. I left him there and I got in the shop.

"Wait!" I heard him say.

"Yes?" I said when he approached me.

"Are you serious?" He asked. I nodded and smiled.

"Yes! And I couldn't be happier about it." I said with enthusiasm in my voice. He then smiled as well and hugged me.

"Man, that's awesome. Congratulations!" He said.

"Thanks, man." We then broke the hug and a girl came to us.

"Hello, how can I help you?" She asked kindly.

"Oh, I would like to-" My phone rang and cut me off. I apologized and she smiled in understandment. I went away from them and answered.

"Hello?" I said through the phone.

"Why, hello there." An unfamiliar voice said.

"Who is it?' I asked.

"Oh, come on, think...Who am I?" He said with an annoying voice, like he was enjoying it. I tried to think who could it be but nothing. That's when realization dawned to me.

"Adam." I said with the anger clear in my voice and made my hand into fist.

"It's been a long time my friend.." He said and I wish I was there to beat the hell out of him. How dare he call me?

Dun, dun, dun!
After a while I finally updated and the asshole called Adam is back in the game. Things might get complicated now.
