"My little bird."
She was back in that room again. He was there hoovering over her bed. She wanted to scream, wanted to move, wanted to leave but she couldn't. She was stuck.
"Please! Stop! No!"
It was no use. He just laughed as he dragged a knife from one side of her waist to the other. Slowly adding pressure as the blade danced across her skin.
Jimin got woken up but a sharp pain piercing his chest. The shirt he had on tightened and tightened, making it hard for him to breath. Jolting his eyes open he finds Seulgi's face contorted in a way that made his heart hurt. She had her eyes tightly shut, tears were seeping out from the corners. Her eyebrows where furrowed, beads of sweat formed on her forehead. She was whispering 'Please stop no' over and over again. She was having a nightmare
"Hey hey hey," Jimin started to shake Seulgi awake. Her grip on his shirt tightened even more, as her nails dug deeper in his chest. "Seul, wake up," After a few seconds Seulgi's eyes shot open. Quickly scanning the room for any traced of the man. Meeting Jimin's soft eyes she let go of the breath that was stuck in her throat. "Its okay, I'm here," Jimin brought her head close to his chest. Placing a kiss on top of her head, he felt her shaking.
"He.." Seulgi wanted to talk but her voice betrayed her. She wanted to speak but her sobs were more prominent.
"Its okay, I'm here," Jimin stroke her hair as he kept coaxing her. He didn't know what else to do. He felt her push herself away from him. He took this as a sign to move away so he did. He got out of the hospital bed as Seulgi sat up.
"He... Umm.. took me to this... room.." This was the first time she spoke of the abduction. Jimin never asked anything. A part of him was too overwhelmed by the fact that she was there alive and she was with him. The other part was too scared to ask Seulgi anything. He didn't know if he can take it.
"He kept... Hurting me.." Seulgi's lips were trembling. She was trying so hard to get the words out but the need for air in between her sobs were greater. "He kept saying he'll fix me," Seulgi looked Jimin straight in the eye. "Please don't let him do that to me again,"
Jimin was shocked. He never heard his partner so weak before. He never even heard her say please to him, she never needed anyone's help before. She was always too prideful for that. But seeing her like this, Jimin wanted nothing more than to protect her.
"I won't. I promise." Jimin promising to her, seemed to brought her some peace of mind. She knew her partner, always keeps his promises. No matter what happens he'd never break a promise. That was the kind of man he is.
"Do you remember what he looked like?"
Jimin watched as terror and fear filled Seulgi's eyes. She violently began to shake her head. She couldn't remember what he looked like. She remembers bits and piece of her abductor. But she doesn't remember him. How can I not remember?
"Hey it's okay," Jimin cupped her face so her attention would be at him. "They found traces of Ambien in your system. That really affects someone's memory." Jimin assured her. "It's not your fault okay? It's perfectly fine," Seulgi nodded but the fear her eyes didn't subside. Right then and there Jimin promised to himself that whoever this bastard is, he will find him.
A knock brought the two back to reality.
"Seulgi, its— what are you doing here?" Wendy was puzzled to see Jimin standing next to Seulgi's bed. She didn't miss the messy hair he was sporting and the fact that his jacket was on the floor. Did he spend the night here?
