Chapter 11

"Jesus Christ! You scared the hell out of me! What the hell are you doing here?" Seulgi gripped her chest. She was shocked by the fact that Jimin was current standing in the kitchen instead of being away to his mother. That's what he told her, he was going to be gone, then finding him home. It was sure a surprise

"I live here," Jimin said in a plain voice

"I meant you said you were going to stay at your mom's today," Seulgi tried to get her heart beat back to normal

"Things changed." Jimin said then proceed to continue cooking. "I'd ask if you wanted some but seeing you already ate. Never mind,"

"What?" Seulgi looked at him suspiciously. How did he know I just ate? "How do you know that?"

Crap. Jimin froze. He could feel Seulgi's stare at the back of his head

"Did you follow me?" Jimin finally faces her again. The crease in her forehead was visible. She was mad.

Jimin just shrugged in response. No point denying it

"You followed me?!" Seulgi stared at Jimin in disbelief. She couldn't believe him.

"I wanted to make sure you were okay!" Jimin fired back with the same level of intensity in his voice. He couldn't understand what was so wrong about what he did. He wanted to know she was okay. He didn't have a good feel for this Dr. Kim, he wanted to make sure this Dr. Kim wasn't going to hurt her in any way. "I don't trust him. I don't trust you alone with him"

Seulgi once again met up with the Junmo. It was upon Seulgi's request.

"I don't need your approval! You are not my father." Seulgi said in a firm voice. She was fuming. How can she not be? Jimin lied to her telling her he was going up to his mom's house then proceed to spy on her meeting with Dr. Kim. "Just mind your own business,"

"You're my business! I'm supposed to look after you remember," Jimin took Seulgi by surprise with his response. "I'm suppose to keep you safe." He added when he noticed she was stuck on his last words

"I was safe," Seulgi lowered her voice but she was obviously not backing down

"Of course you were. A rich handsome guy like Junmo gonna keep you safe!" Jimin's voice was laced with venom

"You! You are unbelievable!" Seulgi's eyes widen at his implications.

"Was it fun? Having that rich-ass dick keeping you safe?" Jimin smirked in annoyance. He himself couldn't explain why he was acting this way. All he wanted to do was to get her to tell him about her day. But something took over and all he saw was the image of Seulgi and that doctor together.

"You know what, I'm relieving you. You are no longer responsible for me." Seulgi sighed clearly disappointed at Jimin. "If its a burden you free now,"

"I never said anything about—"

"You didn't have to. So please stop acting like you're my father because you aren't."

"You know what your problem is," Jimin got up close to Seulgi to the point that made Seulgi self-conscious. "You're so addicted to your own misery you don't even look up and see we're all trying so hard to  help you, pull you out of the hole you're in. You're too prideful to admit you're a fucking victim. Its not a bad thing Kang Seulgi, it just means you've went through something horrible. And guess what you survived."

"No I didn't! Not here!" Seulgi screamed and pointed to her head. "I still hear his fucking voice calling me his little bird! That's never going away Jimin! I can't get away from it and no one can take it away for me!"
