"Tae, I need you to do something for me."
"Anything." Taehyung rushed to her side.
"Get a pen and paper out, in case you forget." Seulgi moved her legs to the side of her bed. She bit her lip in order to distract herself from the shooting pain from her thigh. If she wanted to do this, she'll have to endure this pain.
"Why didn't you ask Jimin to do it? I mean he's been here all night," Seulgi shot Taehyung a warning look. Taehyung just gave her a sly grin but it soon disappeared. "Is it because you know he'd say no?"
Seulgi didn't respond with any words, she just nodded her head a few times. He was right, Jimin would never agree to what she wanted to do. She could hear Jimin's voice in the back of her head saying this is crazy.
"You owe me a 'no questions ask' remember?" Seulgi threw Taehyung a serious look. "I need you to do this for me,"
"I don't know this guy who took me okay, but he already took away two weeks of my life I refuse to let him take one more second of it." Taehyung looked at Seulgi empathetically. "I don't want to be a victim." Seulgi said firmly
"You're not a victim, noona."
"Please. I saw the look all of you gave me the first time you all saw me." Seulgi stood up. She took a couple seconds to find her balance, but when she did she stood up as straight as she could giving Taehyung a reassuring smile.
"Point is, he didn't break me and I can't stay here." Seulgi gestured around her. "You know how I am, I'm proactive. I can't stay cooped up here and wait for something else to happen."
Seulgi looked at Taehyung with so much passion in her eyes. He could tell she really is desperate to get out the hospital
"I wanna to get my life back Tae, maybe I'm not fully ready yet but I'm determined to take a shot at it."
Seulgi wanted more than anything is for everyone to stop treating her like a victim. All her life that's the one label she never wants. When everyone labeled her and her brother victims when their parents died she did her best at school to get the #1 spot overall. Just for people to stop calling them victims. When her brother died on the job she went as far as going into the most prestigious police academy just to prove that she's heading somewhere. She was never a victim, she never wanted anyone to think that she is. She's a survivor and she's determine to make everyone see that.

Jimin felt extremely tired. During the car ride home his eyes were heavy and he could feel the hangover settling in. Despite having slept soundly the night before his body didn't feel like it was enough. He knew it wasn't because of his lack of sleep though, it was because he was so worried. Worried for his partner.
He knows Taehyung was with her but he kept wanting to just turn the car around and be by her side again. After everything that has happened he wanted to be the one who's always by her side. He wanted to protect her. Jimin felt that there was no on else he could trust to look after her but him.
Why, is the question he can't seem to answer. Sure its his nature to want to protect everyone. That's who he is, always has been. Ever since he saw his father mistreating his mother he wanted nothing more than to protect others from harm. But when it came it his partner that want turned into need. He just felt the need to protect her. Maybe it was when he saw her crumble when they took on their first case involving a child. Or maybe when she almost died in a shoot out last year? Or did it go further back, back to when they were held hostage by a gang unit and he had to watch as she was almost molested. Jimin shook the memory away. Maybe it was then? That time Jimin went crazy when he saw the guy being hauled to the police car and lunged at the guy, beating him until he bearly breathing. It took three police officers and Seulgi coming in between Jimin and the gang member.
