Chapter 14

"Sleep much?" Jin teased the brunette detective who was settling in her desk. Seulgi gave him a dry laugh, she know she probably look a bit too tired, she barely got any sleep last night. Jimin kept her up.

Seulgi gave him the finger which Jin just laughed at.

The ringing of her phone, made her turn her attention to her phone. She didn't recognize the number, but being the curious person she is, she answered.

"Hello my bird," Seulgi froze. "Don't tick off anyone unless you don't want to ever find out who I am," Seulgi calmed herself down. She needed to know who he is. She needed to know why he did this. She needed to see him locked behind bars. She wanted to be the one to put him there.

Jin who has been watching her, gave her a questioning look.

"Tell him you're talking the call outside." Seulgi maintained a straight face. Is here? Can he see me?

"Of course I'm here." As if he read her mind Seulgi let her eyes wander around the precinct but no one in particular stood out.

Seulgi just pointed to her phone and gave Jin a look. Jin got the message and nodded to her before going back to work. Before she even left the squad room her eyes went to the Captains office, she noticed the tense atmosphere brewing in there. Taehyung and Jimin was just as serious as the Captain.

"Move it." The voice spoke once more, reminding Seulgi that he's seeing everything right now

The moment Seulgi stepped out the station she knew something wasn't right. She saw her car parked right across the street. She didn't take her car, she grabbed a ride with Jimin.

"You like my surprise my bird?" Seulgi could hear the small laugh he did. "Get in."

Peering in the tinted window, her eyes grew wide open when she was able to open the door. She looked around first before getting inside the car.

"My little bird follows direction so well." That was the last thing she heard.

"She took a call outside." Jin's face crinkled. He was confused why the suddenly freaked out trio just asked for her. Jimin sprinted out the squad room and the precinct. As if it was perfectly timed the moment Jimin opened the door leading outside the precinct he saw Seulgi's car speeding out the lot, with Kim Junmo driving with a smirked plastered.

Jimin immediately reached for his gun pointing it at the speeding car. He was able to fire two shots at the car before it disappeared from the lot.

"Damn it!"

"What happened?" Taehyung showed up with his gun already in his hands too. He had heard a gun go off twice, instincts took over and he grabbed his gun.

He saw Jimin run towards his car, Taehyung immediately followed getting in.

"He's got Seulgi, he took off in her car!" Jimin explained as he speeds out the lot. Stepping on the gas so hard it pushed Taehyung back to his seat.

Taehyung grabbed on to the car handles because of Jimin frantic and fast driving. He understood the urgency of the whole situation. Their coworker is being abducted again and its up to them to not let it happen.

"We're in persuit. We need back up. Suspect in a 2013 black honda civic. I repeat we need back up." Taehyung used the dispatch in hope of alerting their precinct.
