The heart ripping scream of Seulgi made Jimin run to the bedroom. Out of instincts Jimin pulled his gun out of his holster. He threw himself to the door to open it. There he found Seulgi tucked in the corner of the bed. Right where the bed meets the wall.
He wanted to move to her, closer to her but he thought securing the room would be better for her. Without lowering his gun, Jimin searched the room and the bathroom connected to it.
Putting his gun on the night stand, Jimin cradled Seulgi into his arms. "Shhh. Seulgi I'm here don't worry." Seulgi was fighting him off. She was pushing him away, she thought Jimin was him.
"C'mon baby open your eyes. Its okay." Seulgi opened her eyes, she blinked quickly and examined the room. Even moving away from Jimin's grasp. Looking for any signs of imminent danger. "It's only me babe," the look Jimin had on was pure sympathy
"He was here. I felt it. I felt him." Seulgi wrapped her arms around herself. "He was so close." Her voice trailed off to a sob. Remembering what he had done, Seulgi started rubbing her forehead. Hoping it'll erase the memory of him being there.
"Baby stop you'll hurt yourself." Jimin caught her hands and brought it to his lips to kiss them
"Jimin." Seulgi finally looked at him. She was breathless and completely drain of energy. She gave in to his kind eyes. She threw herself into his arms. Holding on to him for dear life.
"It's okay. He wasn't here. No one's here but me. I checked." Jimin mumbled as he rubbed Seulgi's back for comfort.
He felt Seulgi shaking her head against his chest. "No. no. He was here. I know it." Burying herself into Jimin's embrace. "Please don't leave me alone anymore."
Jimin didn't know what to do. Seulgi was going into a trance state and he doesn't want that to happen.
Jimin remembered he only checked the bedroom. He could still be here. "Hey, I'm going to go look around the apartment okay?" He loosened his hug around her and tipped her chin up to face him. All he got as a response was a nod. He slowly let go of her. Grabbing his gun he headed out the room to search the entire apartment.
Seulgi pulled her knees close to her chest when Jimin let her go. He was here. He was close. Her eyes landed on a stuffed teddy bear on the other side of the room, just sitting on the couch. That wasn't there before. Summoning up enough courage, Seulgi moved her wobbly legs and picked up the teddy bear. Upon examining the bear Seulgi found it oddly familiar.
Jimin immediately ran back the room after an entire apartment search, he found no signs of anyone else being there other than him and his partner. He found Seulgi standing holding a teddy bear, he doesn't recognize it being there earlier.
Seulgi remembered why that bear looked familiar. She saw it there. She was it when she was abducted. Turning to Jimin who was still frozen at the door frame she held up the stuffed toy for him to see. "He was here. This was from there." With a shaky voice she managed to tell Jimin.
Without any hesitation Jimin strode across the room and engulfed Seulgi in another hug. I'm so sorry I left you alone." He felt guilty. He still blames himself for the fact that she was abducted that night then this. If only he didn't leave. If only he didn't walk out the door. She would have been better than she is now. He would have never been able to get close to her. Jimin blames himself. The one person he swore to will protect no matter what, he let her down. Once again.
