Love is a strong word
Some might say it's a myth
To love or to be loved
I think that you can love people, maybe friends and family, but to be in love is really rare
Now, I don't know what you feel towards you're 'lover' but maybe, just maybe, saying you're in love is taking it out of context.
Maybe we feel so void, that when we feel something for somebody, wether it be lust or desire, we assume this is what love feels like.
If that's the case, then why did they cheat on you, or why did they walk away, or why did something really shitty have to happen ?
Being 'in love' is so overused
Did you ever stop to think that we are just in love with the idea of being in love
