The Coach's Daughter

Alex's P.O.V
As I made my way to the football field, I received a message from the coach.

Coach: I'm just letting you all know that I will be away for the week so my daughter will be taking my place and will be training with you all- coach

When I arrived at the field, I saw my teammates all warming up.
"Hey guys, did you get the message from coach?" I asked
"Yeah" they all replied
Just as I was about to speak, a high pitched whistle interrupted me, grabbing everyone's attention. I turned to see that there was a girl standing in front of us. She was gorgeous.

"Alright boys listen up, as you may all know, Coach is away for the week, so for the time being, I will be taking his place" she said
"You must be the Coach's daughter, Perrie Edwards" I said
"Yes I am, and you are?" She asked, quirking up one eyebrow
"Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, captain of the football team" I replied proudly
"Well then, as captain of the team, you can go fetch all the footballs from the bag over there for everyone" she said as everyone tried their hardest to hold in their laughter making me give them all a death glare.

~Later~
Training has ended and I have to admit, Perrie did a great job. She knew exactly what she was doing and everyone was able to improve greatly.

I don't know why but everything she does just makes me more attracted to her. Her confidence, her giggle, her sass, just everything about her makes my heart skip a beat. I just wish I could call her mine and be able to hold her when she's sad, or be the one who makes her happy.

I've known her for four hours and I already have a massive crush on her, is it bad that I like my Coach's daughter?

~The next day~
Perrie's P.O.V
I was at the field earlier than usual because I wanted to be alone and of course, I had to set up for training.

I couldn't sleep last night because I had a certain someone stuck on my mind all night. Alex. Just everything about him is perfect. His swift movements on the field, the little freckles on his nose, his personality, just everything. I just want him to be mine.

I was laying down on the grass and just watching the clouds pass by as I saw figure lay down next to me. It was Alex.
"What are you doing here this early?" I asked him
"I could ask the same for you" he replied
"Well, I asked you first"
"Fine, I like to come early to be able to clear my mind on the field, now why are you here?"
"Just for some alone time" I replied
"Well, do you mind if I join you?"
"Not at all" I said, giggling

Alex's P.O.V
Oh my god that giggle is adorable, someone please help me.

"Look, it's a snowman" Perrie said in a cute voice while pointing to a cloud
"No, it looks more like dog" I replied
"No it doesn't" she protested
"Yes it does"
"No it- oh wait, it does" she said as we both burst into laughter

After the laughter died down, I turned over to my side so I was faced facing Perrie.
"Perrie?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you free tonight?"
"Yes I am, why?"
"Um, would you like to go on a date with me?" I asked nervously
She stared at me as smile slowly grew on her face
"I would love to" she said making my face light up
"So, I'll pick you up at 7?"
"That'll be great, now come on, training starts in ten minutes" she said

~later~
Perrie's P.O.V
Once training ended, I said goodbye to everyone and waited for everyone to leave. When everyone left, I quickly rushed home to the flat I shared with my best friends, Leigh-Anne, Jade and Jesy.

~skip car ride~
"Girls?" I called out as I opened the front door
"We're in the kitchen" Jesy yelled out from the other the room
I walked into the kitchen to see them all eating doughnuts.
"Girls, I need you all to help me get ready for um, a date tonight" I said making them squeal in excited
"Oh my gosh of course we'll help, who's the lucky guy?" Leigh said excited
"Um, his name is Alex" I replied
"Hold on, is he the one in the football team you're coaching for the week?" Jade asked
"Um yeah" I said
"You're going on a date with one of the footballers in your dad's team?!, how is your dad going to react?!" Jade said half yelling
"But I really like him" I replied pouting
"Oh I'm sorry for reacting like that baba, if it means this much to you, I'll help you" Jade said hugging me
"Thank you"
"Okay now when does your date start?" Jesy asked
"Alex said he'll pick me up at 7"
"What! That's in 3 hours, we don't have a lot of time so go take a shower cause you smell like sweaty boys" Leigh said
"Hey! It's not my fault my dad got me to take his place for the week" I said acting as if I'm hurt
"I know, now get your lazy butt upstairs to the bathroom" Leigh replied while pushing me up the stairs
"Alright I'm going"
