Alex's P.O.V
"Daddy?" My Daughter Avery called out

"Yes Princess?"

"I can't sleep, can to tell me a story?"

"Sure baba, what story?" I asked

"Um, can you tell me how you and mummy got together?"

"Alright this story is pretty funny but years ago, Your mum and I attended the same high school, she was the most popular girl in school and-"

"He was the most popular boy" Perrie said walking into room and sitting next to me

"Yeah.. everyone thought we would be perfect for each other but that's not we thought, we absolutely heated each other" I continued

"Why?" Avery asked

"We don't actually know" Perrie said

"So what made you two fall in love?"

"Well, one day in our English class, the teacher assigned everyone a partner, and we got paired. We both complained to the teacher and asked for a different partner but obviously she said no, so we were stuck with each other. Because I wanted to pass the subject, I knew I had to actually put in effort, but it took me forever to get your mum to talk to me" I said

"Yep, I would just block him out and draw pictures in my book" Perrie says giggling

"So then I asked her why we hated each other cause I didn't know why I hated her. She was the most beautiful I've ever seen, so why did I hate her? I don't know." I say

"I was going to answer him but then I realised I didn't actually have a reason" Perrie said

"So I suggested that we start over and get to know each other. I loved every single moment during the time we spent doing our project because I got to spend more time with your mum. By the time we handed in project, I knew I was in love her so I asked your mum out, and luckily she said yes. Fast forward years later we got engaged, got married then here we are now, and to this day, I will always regret hating your mum"

"That's cute" Avery said while yawning

"Well it's time for you to sleep, good night love" Perrie said, tucking in Avery

"Good night mummy, good night daddy"

"Good night Princess" I say walking out the door and waiting for Perrie.

Once Perrie walked out and closed the door, I wrapped my arms around her waist

"I love you so much" I say kissing her temple

"I love you so much more" Perrie says
