Perrie's P.O.V

I sat down on the couch as I clicked on Alex's contact to FaceTime him. After about one ring, his cute little face pops up on my screen.

"Happy Valentine's day baby" I say cheerfully

"Happy Valentine's day babe, I love you so much. I'm sorry I couldn't be with you" He says frowning through the phone screen

"I really wish you were here too but Alex, your career comes first and I understand that so you have no reason to apologise"

"I know but I just really really miss you"

"I miss you too babe"

"Oh babe I almost forgot, I have a little surprise for you in about three seconds" he says looking down at his watch

As on cue, the doorbell rings.

"Alex what have you got up your sleeves this time" I say smiling widely as I walked up to the door

"Just a little something I think you'd like' he winks at me

As I opened the door, I am met with the most beautiful bouquet of red roses

"Oh my god Alex they're beautiful!"

"Not as beautiful as you"

"That was really cheesy"

"Yeah it was wasn't it" he says chuckling

"oh how I wish I could be in your arms right now" I say pouting slightly

"I know Pezza, but I'll be home in a couple days don't you worry"

"yeah" I sigh

"I'm sorry babe, I have to go now" he says

"oh ok I love you"

"I love you too"

And with that, we hung up. I suddenly started to feel tired so I walked up stairs to bed. I snuggled up to a teddy bear that Alex had one for me on our first date and slowly drifted off to sleep.

//later//

'Perrieeee wake up" I hear someone say

I groan as I feel bodies on top of me. I open my eyes slightly to see that it was the girls.

"What are you girls doing here? Shouldn't you be out with your lovers?" I ask clearly still half asleep

"well we thought that it'd be fun if we all went out together" Jade says

"Why, so I can third wheel you all?"

"Perrie, she didn't mean it like that" Jesy says

"I know, I'm sorry for being rude, I just really miss Alex"

"Aw Pez we know but trust us, after tonight you'll be over the moon, now get up we're leaving in half an hour" Leigh says

"Half an hour?! I need to get ready!"

"tick tock pez, tick tock" they laugh

//Later that night at the restaurant//

"You were right girls, this was really fun" I say smiling at the girls

'"Of course we were" Leigh says flipping her hair making everyone laugh

"Pez, we have one more surprise for you today" Jesy says

"What is it?"

"Turn around" Jade says smiling widely

As I turned around, I couldn't believe my eyes. There in front of me was the love of my life, kneeling down on one knee and holing up a velvet box with a beautiful diamond ring inside.

"Perrie Louise Edwards, I have loved you ever since I laid eyes on you. You're a gift from the gods and I have no idea what I have done to deserve you. I know this is a bit early but you are the one I love, you are the one I want to have children with, you are the one I want to grow old with, Perrie you are the one for me. You are my forever. So Perrie, will you marry me?" he says looking up at me with hopeful eyes

I didn't even realise I was crying.

"Yes Alex, I'd love to marry you" I say as every cheered

"I love you so much Alex"

"I love you too Perrie, more than words can describe" He says sliding the ring onto my finger

"How long have you planned this I asked" hugging him tightly

"For a while now, I'm glad you said yes, I was honestly so nervous that I would've cried if you said no"

"Aw why would you think I'd ever say no?"

"I don't know, maybe because you're just so perfect to be with someone like me"

"Alex, I'm not perfect"

"You're perfect to me"
