Kinda based off of Taylor Swift's song 'Mine'

When Perrie was younger, her parents always fought with each other. This went on for months until one night, her parents were in a massive argument. Perrie watched her parents scream at each other behind the door. The fight ended with her dad saying goodbye as he left, never to be heard from again. After this one night, Perrie never believed in love again, she thought that it was just a waste of time. This was until she met Alex at a local cafe. They instantly clicked and Alex was able to show Perrie that love actually exists. Fast forward a couple years, Alex proposed by the river side, the answer was obviously a 'yes', then they moved in together. Everything was perfect until tonight.

Perrie's P.O.V
It was now 2:30 am and Alex was still not home. It has been hours and he won't answer any of my calls or messages. I was freaking out. Just as I was about to call him again, the front door opened, revealing Alex.

"Where have to been Alex?! I've been worried all night cause you won't answer my calls" I said clearly annoyed

"Calm down Perrie, I was just out with some friends"

"And you didn't bother to at least answer my calls?!" I said raising my voice "who were you with any way?!"

"I told you already, I was with my friends" Alex said also getting annoyed

"You were with Emma weren't you"

"Why does it even matter?!"

"I have a right to know!"

"OH MY GOD PERRIE, YOU CAN BE SO ANNOYING SOMETIMES, WHY DO YOU ALWAYS GET SO JEALOUS WHEN I HANG OUT WITH HER?!" Alex yelled

"YOU WANNA KNOW WHY? JUST LOOK AT HER, SHE'S PERFECT, AND THEN THERE'S ME, NO WHERE NEAR AS BEAUTIFUL AS SHE IS. MAYBE I GET JEALOUS BECAUSE I'M SCARED THAT THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME WILL LEAVE ME, JUST LIKE MY DAD DID" I screamed

Before Alex could answer, I ran out of the house, tears streaming down my cheeks.

Alex's P.O.V
When Perrie ran out the house, I instantly regretted everything I said. Why do I have to be so stupid?

I quickly ran after her trying to catch up. Luckily for me, I'm faster so I was able to grab her hand, forcing her to stop.

"Perrie I'm so sorry" I said but she didn't answer. All I could hear was her quiet sobs, making me feel even more guilty. "Perrie please look at me" I say lifting up her chin

"You probably hate me now, you can leave if you want" she says quietly

"What? No, Perrie I am never ever going to leave you and I will never ever hate you. You are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, you always take my breath away, and I don't understand why you think so low of yourself, you're perfect" I say

"I'm not perfect Alex, when are you going to realise that?"

"You're perfect to me. And I hate seeing you like this, especially because I caused this. I remember when I first met you at the cafe, I instantly fell in love. Perrie, I fell in love with you, not anyone else, just you."

"I'm sorry" Perrie says, hugging me

"There's no need to be, this was all my fault"

"No it wasn't, I'm just one stupid overprotective fiancé"

"No you're not Perrie, look at me" I say making her look at me in the eye. "I love you, and only you"

"I love you too"
