Info: Perrie has a 14 year old daughter named Aliyaah who is a very shy and needy girl. Perrie and her have a very close mother-daughter relationship so when Alex comes into their lives, she'll have to learn how to open up and trust him.

Aliyaah's P.O.V
I was chilling on the couch when the door bell rang. I walked over and opened the front door thinking it was the pizza guy but to my surprise, it wasn't. I stood there uncomfortably as the man smiled at me.

"Hey, you must be Aliyaah, is your mum around?" He asks me

I nodded slowly in reply, not saying a word.

"Aliyaah, who's at the door?" My mum calls out, walking down the stairs
"Alex!" She squeals once she sees him.
"I missed you" she says embracing him into a hug

"I missed you too Pez"

I stare at two in confusion while they do all the lovey-dovey things. When things got too uncomfortable for me to watch, I leave walking up to my room. Who is he? Is he her boyfriend? How did I not get told about this? What does that mean for mum and I? Will she rather spend time with him than me?

Questions swarmed through my head as I lay in my bed, staring at the ceiling. Once my stomach starts to rumble, I slowly walk down stairs trying my hardest to not make a sound. I turn the corner to see mum and that Alex guy all cuddled up on the couch talking about random things. I turn back around quickly, trying not to be seen. Luckily for me, they were too engrossed in each other to even notice me. I quickly ran to the kitchen to get a slice of pizza then then ran back up to my room. I turn the TV on to see that mum and I's favourite show is on. Mum and I always watch it together so I walked to the stairs and asked if she wanted to watch it with me but she replied with a 'maybe later'. She never misses this show. Does that mean she'd rather be with Alex? Is she going to forget about me?

"Aliyaah, can you come down here please?" Mum calls out

"No"

"Aliyaah Rose Edwards, come down here now" she says sternly

"Mum just leave me alone!" I yell instantly regretting it as tears roll down my cheeks.

Perrie's P.O.V
"Am I a bad mother?" I ask Alex as tears start to build up in my eyes

"What? No, Perrie look at me" he says lifting up my chin.
"You are an amazing mother, you just need to remember she is a teenager and she just needs some space. Why don't you go up and have a mother-daughter chat with her and I'll go home" he says

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'll come back tomorrow alright?"

"Thank you Alex, I love you so much" I say hugging him

"I love you too" he says kidding my forehead

"Good night Alex"

"Good night Pez"

Once Alex leaves, I slowly make my way up to Aliyaah's room.

"Aliyaah? Can I come in?" I ask

"Yeah" she says quietly

I open the door to her with tears streaming down her face, breaking my heart.

"What's wrong Bub?" I ask embracing her in a hug
