VID #6: Miranda Family

Noong makapasok kami nakaramdam ako na parang may nakamasid sa amin, pero ng ilibot ko yung paningin ko wala naman. Aish! Bakit ba ako namomoroblema?

Napapiksi ako ng biglang may humablot sa akin at tinutukan ako ng patalim. Isa yung kunai kaya alam kong kahit konting dampi lang noon sa balat ko. Magkakasugat na kaagad ito.

"Fuck!" Galit na sigaw ni Neo. Ang mga bata naman nanlaki yung mga mata. Teka! Kulang ng isa ah.

"Mom, put that thing down." I heard Hendricks' voice.

"Why? Who's this woman?" She asked. Is this his mom? What the hell!

"Tita, she's Jamie my wife." Neo said calmly. How can he be so calm at a time like this? Damn!

I can feel the dagger's end slowly infiltrating my neck. Damn! Neo, I will surely kill you!

"Oh, my bad..." she freed me from her grasp and faced us.

"Hi, I'm Mona Maurice Miranda. Hendricks' mother and Neo's aunt. Its nice to meet you, Jamie." She said in a very elegant manner.

"My pleasure, madame." I said obliviously.

"By the way, Hendricks your father has come to talk to you about the ceremony." Ms. Mona said.

"Jamie, dear, you can call me, Tita Maurice." She smiled.

"Hi po, tita." Nakayuko kong sambit.

"What a fine lady you have here, my dear nephew. Oh, well. Hendricks your father's waiting for you." She smiled before heading to the grand hall.

"That was awkward." I whispered harshly. It feels like my heart was taken away from my body.

"Shit! Jamie you're bleeding! Darn that witch! She's still a psycho for Pete's sake!" He pressed the side of neck. I can't feel anything though.

And before I know it. I collapsed before him.

"Jamie!" Thats the last thing i heard.

...

I woke up in a gloomy place and I somewhat felt something eerie about this place.

"Jamie..." I heard someone's voice calling me.

"Who are you? Show yourself!" I shouted. I followed the voice calling me and I saw a dark lake.

The lake's water was colored in a dark shade of red. It somewhat reminds me of that person's eyes. Bloodshot.

I looked everywhere but to no avail. I tried so hard to find who's calling me when the large portion of the lake rose and stood at a battle stance.

"Jamie... come closer..." Its the same voice.

I don't know what happened but I did what the voice said.

"Closer..." The voice said.

I was close, but then I heard his voice saying something.

"Jamie please don't go..." he said scrupulously.

"Neo..." I can feel my throat getting dryer as I say his name. What's happening?

"Jamie please, resist it. Don't leave me please." He said.

I tried my best to say his name again but to no avail.

I saw a blinding light not far away from me. I walked towards it and found myself walking at an endless alley.

"Jamie... come back to me please..." I heard Neo's voice again.

"N-Neo..." I've tried so hard to speak but again nothing happened.

"Jamie..." I heard the mysterious voice again.

"Jamie!" I heard Neo's voice again.

I walked through the unending alley until I got into a door.

I saw a young lady facing a very fancy vanity mirror. She looked innocent with her kinky eyes.

"He needs you. Come back Jamie. You don't belong here." She said still looking at the mirror.

How did she? "Just go back." She said calmly and the next thing I know.

Neo's caressing my hair and whispering something that I can't understand at all.

"Neo..." and he hugged me tight.

"I saw someone. She said something. Neo, natatakot ako." He shushed me and just hugged me tightly. If that's even possible.

"Jamie, magpahinga ka na muna okay? Kapag maayos na ang lagay mo tsaka na lang natin pag-usapan. Okay?" Tumango na lang ako at tuluyan ng nilamon ng antok ang huwisyo ko.
