Chapter 3: The Prophecy

Lionkit and Wolfkit arrived in the nursery then curled up in the nest with their mother and sister. Well, Lionkit was more in the corner away from Dawnflower and Icekit. Lionkit closed her eyes and went to sleep. She soon found herself in a strange place. There were 4 giant oak trees and a big rock in the middle. She saw other cats there, except their pelts shone like the stars. "Hello Lionkit." A blue she-cat greeted. "H-how do you know my name?" Lionkit staggered. "We know the names of every cat. Kit,warrior,apprentice, and so forth." She answered. "What is your name?" Lionkit asked her. "My name is Blindeye" Blindeye replied. "Why do your pelts shine like stars?" Lionkit asked her. "Because we are the stars. We are starclan." Blindeye answered. "So your the ones the warriors were talking about...." Lionkit mewed. "Yes" Blindeye said. Bluestar,Firestar,and Hollyleaf padded over to them."Hello Lionkit. I'm Bluestar,this is Firestar and that's hollyleaf." Bluestar introduced." "We have a prophecy for you." She said. "A prophecy?" Lionkit asked. "A prophecy is a foretelling of what will happen."Bluestar answered. "Hollyleaf.." She beckoned "The prophecy is, "A lion will arise, but revenge will destroy her." Hollyleaf told Lionkit. "A lion...and who's the lion?" Lionkit questioned." You will find out when the time is right. Please choose the right path to avoid this catastrophy." Firestar warned. He and the others began to fade. "Wait I have more questions! What's the catastrophy?" Lionkit shouted. Lionkit awoke. She was back in the nest. The starclan warriors were gone. "Shut up. I'm trying to sleep!" Dawnflower complained."Sorry." Lionkit apologized then tried to sleep. But instead thought about the prophecy that rang in her ears. "A lion will arise, but revenge will destroy her..."
